Deep Bay Marine Field Station
The Deep Bay Marine Field Station provides many learning opportunities for the public. We have aquariums and touch tanks that help to interpret the local marine environment to our visitors. A visit to the station can be quite an interactive experience! We have both guided and self-guided tours that provide interpretation on several themes along with occasional public lectures and special events.
Big Bang Cider
We are a craft cidery making cider with proper cider apples. Come to the farm and try a tasting flight or a glass. We're open Friday 3-8pm, Saturdays & Sundays 12-6pm and most Holidays

The Museum at Campbell River
See, hear and touch the coastal history at the award-winning Museum at Campbell River. View the film about the destruction of Ripple Rock in the 30-seat vintage theatre. Vancouver Island Soaring Centre
Sightseeing tours and glider flight training in the Port Alberni Valley on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. Treat yourself to one of the most unique experiences you can find on Vancouver Island. Our Transport Canada-certified pilots will carry you aloft in a state-of-the-art two-seat glider. Seated up front, you will be surrounded by spectacular views of the Beaufort Mountains, crystal-clear freshwater lakes, ocean inlets and the rugged coastline of Vancouver Island. Youll see the town of Port Alberni below and cruise over Sproat Lake, keeping an eye out for the massive Martin Mars waterbombers at their base below. Open from mid April until the end of September.

The Glass Foundry
A glassblowing studio and adjacent gallery where recycled glass is used to create giftware and unique art pieces. Demonstrations, classes, and more. Super energy efficient glass furnaces, developed at The Foundry are in use now in over 30 countries. Over 250,000 pounds of scrap glass has been re-melted since 1996.
North 48 Bicycles
North 48 Bicycles offers unforgettable guided bicycle tours in the Victoria BC region. Our rides range from Easy to Epic, and we cater to all manner of road cyclists from beginner to expert.
