Jamie's Whaling Station has been offering authentic, family-friendly eco-adventures since 1982. We are your connection to Whales, Bears, and Hot Springs Cove in Tofino & Ucluelet. We offer world class salmon fishing charters from Quadra Island and Campbell River. The waters surrounding Quadra are known as the Salmon Capital of the World. All five species of salmon can be caught from May thru October. This makes a perfect environment for a successful fishing trip. You will fish in comfort out of a 24ft covered cruiser with marine head (toilet).

Wya Point Resort is situated amongst old-growth forest and private, pristine beaches of the Yuu-thlu-ilth-aht (Ucluelet) First Nation peoples. Located on the rugged and remote west coast of Vancouver Island, we offer luxurious lodge accommodations, waterfront yurts and beachfront camping. We have nine timber lodges that were built to LEED Platinum standards using locally harvested red cedar. Each lodge is uniquely designed by a local carver and artist, and named for an animal of the Yuu-thlu-ilth-aht culture. The lodges come equipped with a full kitchenette, fireplace, bathroom, bedroom (1 or 2), cedar deck and chairs, and floor to ceiling windows that overlook Ucluth beach. Our beachfront yurts are open year-round and have private access to Wya beach. All come with a gas stove for heat, cedar deck and chairs, linens and basic kitchen essentials. While our yurts and lodges have daily housekeeping, guests are advised to bring their own potable drinking water and food.
