The Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre is a three-story, 30,400-square foot award-winning cultural centre designed to blend the traditional Squamish Longhouse with the Lil'wat Istken. Cultural Ambassadors share their knowledge and stories with guests, on a guided tour, augmenting the information shared throughout the centre's curated collection of cultural carvings, regalia, weaving and contemporary art. Traditional drum songs are shared at the top of each hour. See a traditional Istken Pithouse and Longhouse outside, as well as enjoying a Salish Forest Walk during summer. Learn about B.C. freshwater fish, recreational fishing and hatchery operations at our self-guided visitor centre. Visitor Hours: Tuesday Saturday, 10:00 am 3:00 pm. Built in 1903 this beautiful house was remodeled into a B&B with 8 unique rooms. The house sits on 87 acres has a salt water swimming pool, meditation labyrinth, walking trails and peaceful gardens. The property is adjacent to the Nature Trust Conservation lands, Chehalis River Hatchery and Sts'Ailes Reserve lands. Nearby are golf, skiing, boating and wildlife viewing opportunities. COVID-19 Vaccine passports are required to stay at this property.
James Walton opened this infamous East Vancouver brewery in 1994 and today he continues to brew some of the most interesting and delicious beers in the city. Storm is well known for their unique selection of weekly rotating "Brainstorm" brews. You may sample up to 6 different beers by cash donation.
