Bethlehem Centre is a cottage-at-the-lake style retreat and conference centre. Ideal for residential groups of 10-40 people, the Centre offers an all-inclusive experience with full meal service and on-site opportunities for quiet reflection and spiritual path-making. Situated on the shores of Westwood Lake at the foot of Mount Benson in Nanaimo, the Centre is a 5-minute walk from a swimming beach, is surrounded by forest, and is connected to miles of hiking trails. The Centre has an outdoor Chartres-style labyrinth, a finger labyrinth museum, a gift shop, a library, an organic vegetable garden and a contained eco-system outdoor pond. Unwind in your own private 9 acre forest on the waterfront of Bedwell Harbour. Look across the Harbour and watch the sunset over Gulf Island National Reserve. This is relaxation and privacy like none other with Seals, Otters, Herons, and Eagles visiting daily. The stairs take you down to the beach. The cabin is rustic but very cozy. One bedroom plus loft, 3 beds in total. Must have 4wd vehicle to drive down very steep hill to the cabin or park at top and walk 5min in. We provide a wagon. 360 degree views of ocean and forest.

No lift (elevator) is available at this property. Laburnum cottage is accessed separately from the other 2 rooms.
