Stanley Park Train

The Stanley Park Railway is one of Vancouver's most popular attractions, welcoming over 200,000 visitors per year. Situated on a site cleared by Typhoon Freda in 1962, the two kilometer track travels through the forest in iconic Stanley Park. Kids of all ages will enjoy the fun relaxing ride in a replica of Canadian Pacific Railway Engine #374, famous for pulling Canada's first transcontinental passenger train into Vancouver in the late 1880s. The railway hosts events for Easter, Halloween and Christmas and is open for the summer from end-June through Labour Day.

Participate in scavenger hunts and hands on activities. Keep the memory of your visit alive with a souvenir from our gift shop. We have a good selection of history books, clothing, toys, jewelry and housewares. During the Winter Season ( October to April) the museum is only open on Saturday or by appointment.

There are 8 log cabins total and five cabins that are lakefront with private docks. This amazing little place is tucked in the wilderness, where the natural beauty is. With sixteen lakes available to guests to fish with rowboats waiting for you, everyday is an adventure. The cabins at the resort all have row boats and electric motors included with you stay.
