The Big Creek Lodge was established in 1985, in the heart of the Chilcotin Country, a remote region in British Columbia, Canada. Under new management since 2019, Cindy is excited to share an authentic Wild West experience with new and familiar faces! The lodge is located approx. 2-hrs drive from Williams Lake Airport. Transfer is available no rental car needed! We offer a full program of activities, including trail riding, ATV & Kayak Rental plus excellent fishing, wilderness hiking, lariat throwing and much more. When going for a trail ride, we will ensure the best fit! All of the rooms and cabins at Big Creek Lodge have earned a Canada Selected Four Star Rating. The accommodation is in comfortable lodge rooms or private cabins, all with floor heating, hair dryer, private facilities and some with balcony/terrace. The home-style country kitchen serves lovely breakfast, lunch and dinner in a relaxed, family atmosphere.

WESTERN HOSPITALITY ON A GUEST RANCH AT THE ENTRANCE TO BEAUTIFUL WELLS GRAY PARK Despite the rapid growth of its urban centers, much of Western Canada is still untamed frontier. One of those areas is the Wells Gray Park, 5200 sq. kilometer of protected wilderness in Central British Columbia. Bounded on the north and east by the Cariboo Mountains, and on the west by an upland plateau, the Wells Gray Park encompasses a broad spectrum of mountain scenery. The area is abundant in flora and fauna. Caribou, moose, black bear, beaver and wolf freely roam the park, and local streams are well stocked with trout. Horseback riding, fishing, mountain biking, river rafting, hiking and canoeing into the local wilderness are all part of the ranch's daily summer routine. Your skilled guide will lead you to adventures on remote mountains, valleys and lakes in a setting as spectacular as it is challenging. COVID-19-update: The Wells Gray Guest Ranch will open June 1st, 2020 with limited capacity,. We are continuing to welcome guests who are able to make the journey. We adhere to the highest cleaning standards possible and have also implemented additional measures in the face of COVID-19 to ensure that our guests feel a sense of security when staying with us. Wedge offers Whitewater Rafting Tours in Whistler, BC from 2.5 hour excursions to full day adventures, departing Whistler Village up to eight times daily. Experience an amazing Whistler river adventure on the Green, Cheakamus or Elaho-Squamish Rivers only minutes away from the resort. I have been fishing for over 40 years, and have the knowledge and experience to make your fishing trip dreams come true. I will personally try my hardest to put you into fish at the prime times in conjunction with the tides and currents. Sea otter Enhydra Lutris and whale watching tours in Esperanza Inlet on the west coast of north Vancouver Island. Boat tours last about 5 hours with shore break. The price of $600 is per boat charter; there is a 12 person limit. Accommodation & meal packages available. Sea otters can be viewed year round, Humpback whales usually show up late spring to fall. Black bears can be spotted after April.

In winter we are your Dakota Ridge specialists, offering regular road and trail condition reports, 4x4 winter transportation, and of course rental equipment, tours, and a variety lessons suited to your abilities.
