Amaruq is based out of Victoria, BC, and offers guided motorcycle adventures spanning the entire length of Vancouver Island, as well as the Chilcotin Plateau and the Rockies. Our trips run anywhere from one to nine days, and our workshops are all one-day events focusing on either GPS Navigation on Motorcycles or Adventure Touring Skills. We cater to a variety of riding abilities & experience.

We provide charter buses for all your transportation needs. We rent out our 50+ plus passenger buses for private tours, weddings, school groups, hockey teams and much more.

Castlegar Sculpturewalk is an annual exhibition of outdoor sculptures, located on a pleasant walking tour in downtown Castlegar. Viewers are encouraged to vote for their favourite sculpture via ballot - the winner of the People's Choice award is purchased by the City for the permanent collections. All of the artworks are available for sale or lease. Ballots/maps are located in red ballot boxes along the route (the start of the route is at the Kootenay Market (635 Columbia Avenue), though you can begin the walk from anywhere. Ballots/maps are also available at the Castlegar Chamber of Commerce, City Hall, or the Kootenay Gallery.

Come to the northern edge of the Great Bear Rainforest on British Columbias north coast, to the Khutzeymateen. Here, within the traditional territory of the Tsimshian nations, lives a wild population of coastal grizzly bears. Just south of the Alaska panhandle and located within Canada's only grizzly bear protected area, Khutzeymateen Wilderness Lodge is your home in the wilderness where you can visit with the grizzly bears in the wild. No roads, no towns...just wilderness and wildlife. Climb into the floatplane and take off from Prince Rupert, BC for a 20 minute flight over mountains and inlets to the Khutzeymateen. Our days are filled with searching for grizzly bears in the lush Khutzeymateen Inlet and estuary, with bald eagles, seabirds, seals, waterfalls and mountains. We are trained and certified under the Commercial Bear Viewing Association of BC.

Gallagher's Canyon is a spectacular par 72, 18-hole championship course full of challenging fairways, well-protected greens and awe-inspiring vistas as play through tall groves of ponderosa pine and along the very edge of the picturesque canyon. Just minutes from downtown Kelowna and Lake Okanagan, the warm arid climate and brilliant sunny days common to this part of BC consistently serve up ideal conditions for exceptional golf. Open April through October, and home to a 9-hole executive course, The Pinnacle, the Canyon Bar & Grill restaurant, lounge and patio, and a Golf Academy / Practice Facility. We welcome guests for free wine tastings. Guests are also able to purchase locally produced white, red, Rosé, sparkling, Ice wine, and dessert wines including port style wines. Come and join us for a great day. Pick your favorite bottle and feel free to have picnic on our ground with the beautiful view of the lake. (glasses are available for hire free of charge, deposit requires and will be refunded once the glasses are returned in good condition) B&B is also available should you require to stay overnight.
