BIG Little Science Centre is a fun Hands-On venue for Families. During drop-in times our hands-on rooms are open for visitors to tour at their leisure. The site has approximately 140 stations of hands-on activities to try.

Endless Adventure, is a multi-sport outdoor adventure centre,located in beautiful Crescent Valley BC. Our goal is to share the magic found in the lush landscape of the West Kootenays via Stand Up Paddle, kayak,canoe, or raft. Endless Adventure offers paddle sports sales as well as kayaking and SUP tours, rentals, instruction. We also provide safe and fun Rafting and a full service campsite over looking the Slocan River. Our Endless Adventure Kayak/SUP academy features whitewater and touring courses for all levels with safety and expert instruction as our focus.

This par 72 course is a beauty measuring up to 6,269 yards and each hole has tees to accommodate golfers of all skill levels. The Radium Course is an affordable, popular, and playable family friendly experience for all.

The West Coast Railway Association presents the story of how the railways were a catalyst in the creation of Western Canadian communities and their economies. This is done primarily at the Railway Museum of British Columbia (formerly the West Coast Railway Heritage Park) in Squamish, BC, where the collection of 95 heritage railway locomotives and cars are exhibited in a typical small community setting. WCRA also operates the Locomotive 374 Pavilion in Vancouver.

The Canadian Museum of Flight is a great family day out. We inspire young people towards a passion for aviation and for science and technology more generally. We tell stories of our rich Canadian aviation history, stories people want to hear and stories people want told. Our hangar is packed with interesting displays and models, fascinating memorabilia and more. Our Museum is a very hands-on facility. Many of our aircraft can be touched, gently. Children can discover aircraft made not only from aluminum, but also from wood and fabric. Weather permitting, several aircraft are open for sitting and dreaming by kids (of all ages). Photo op! Farmstrong Cider Company is a family based business in the Okanagan Valley making small batch craft cider on a heritage farm established in 1896. We do not take reservations, first come, first served. We have a full lunch and dinner menu with vegan & gluten free options. We have a large parking lot and are RV friendly. We are family friendly. We do request that parents have their children seated with them and all times. As Farmstrong is a working farm children should not be unattended inside or outside for any reason. For their safety they need to be with their parents at all times. Our historic barn does not have AC or heating so please dress for the weather of the day of your visit.
