Hughes during a time when agricultural land was plentiful.Since 1984 the Gebert Familys use sustainable farming practices on their 80 acre vineyard to produce wines that reflect the terroir of the north Okanagan Valley under the St Hubertus & Oak Bay Label.
Founded in 2004, the Smith Family built Howling Bluff Estate Winery and vineyard from scratch on our farm on Three Mile Rd that is now part of the famous Naramata Bench wine region. We released our first vintage, the 2006 Sauvignon Blanc, in the spring of 2007. Four BC Lieutenant Governor awards, one Silver in the Decanter World Wine awards, one Red Wine of the Year award, and too many other accolades to count later, Howling Bluff is now focused on finding the best expression of our vineyard for our wines while making sure we create a legacy of a sustainable family winery that our children will continue with far into the future. From our solar panels to our biodynamic, organic and most importantly to us sustainable farming and winemaking practices, added to our efforts to buying local when possible to our most ambitious mission yet: to use, as much as possible, products that have the lowest possible footprint on our planet.

Stoneboat is a family owned artisan winery in Oliver, BC. For over 35 years the family has farmed on the South Okanagan's Lower Black Sage Bench, where rocky, calcareous subsoils, warm days, and cool nights create perfect conditions for growing premium Pinot varietals of distinct character and complexity. Enjoy the restored Tram Car 1220, originally built in 1912, and the largest artefact in the City of Richmonds museum collection. Housed in a building inspired by the architecture of the first Steveston tram station, Tram Car 1220 now rests on its original rail tracks. Nicknamed the Sockeye Special, the interurban tram service carried workers from Vancouver to Steveston to work in the canneries, from 1905 to 1958.
Malahat SkyWalk opened in July 2021 as the newest outdoor experience providing the ultimate natural high on Vancouver Island located 35 minutes north of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Accessible by all ages and wheelchair-friendly, it will immerse visitors in nature as they embark on a 600 metre-long elevated walkway through an expansive Arbutus and Douglas Fir forest, leading to a 10-storey, architecturally-inspiring spiral tower lookout the first of its kind in B.C. Rising 250 metres above sea level, guests can enjoy 360-degree views of islands, inlets, fjords, forests and mountains in two countries. An adventure net suspended partially across the centre of the Spiral Tower provides daring guests with another breathtaking perspective on the spiraling structure below before returning to ground level with an option to take an exhilarating ride down a 20 metre (65 ft) spiral slide.
