As of June 2018 we will be known as the "Canadian Princess Lodge & Marina" having completed the new 250ft marina. The marina will be available for guest boat moorage and local marina tourism business rentals such as sport fishing, whale watching, kayaking. Please contact property direct for marina enquires. Located on the shores of Ucluelet harbour, next to the permanently docked Canadian Princess, this resort features guest rooms with balconies overlooking the harbour and mountains. Each room at the Canadian Princess Lodge has been newly renovated as of spring 2018 equipped with free WIFI, cable TV and a coffee maker. A work desk is also provided. The Pacific Rim National Park Reserve Long Beach Unit is a 10-minute drive from the Ucluelet Canadian Princess Lodge. The Oliver Archives acquires, collects, preserves, and makes accessible records pertaining to the history of Oliver and area, including the former gold mining settlements of Camp McKinney and Fairview.

Named after the Eagles that soar overhead, Eaglecrest Golf Club is located in the beautiful Oceanside area of Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Established in 1971, Eaglecrest is one of the oldest golf courses in the area. This 18 hole championship golf course offers lush fairways and towering evergreen trees. The layout deftly combines a variety of different elements to create a uniquely challenging course. The first three holes are traditional links-style holes, while the next nine are tighter, winding through dense groves of firs and cedars. The final six holes are the golf courses most formidable, especially the 14th and 17th. The par-5 14th hole features lakes on either side as well as a treacherous pot bunker guarding the large green. Eaglecrest Golf Club`s 17th is also tricky. With a narrow landing area, massive greenside bunkers, and a slippery, four tiered, narrow green, the 17th at Eaglecrest will test all areas of your game. Eaglecrest presents many challenging tests, even for the most seasoned golfer.

Established in 1916 as part of the Dominion Experimental Farm, now the Summerland Research and Development Centre, the 6 hectare, Summerland Ornamental Gardens was designed to help residents, choose ornamental plants for their gardens that would be suitable for the dry Okanagan climate. In collaboration with Agriculture Canada, the site is maintained by the non-profit society, the Friends of Summerland Ornamental Gardens. As you stroll through the Gardens you will have views of Okanagan Lake, Giant's Head Mountain and the Trout Creek Trestle railroad bridge, an outstanding engineering feat constructed for the Kettle Valley Railway. Visit the demonstration garden beds and learn principles of water-smart gardening with the diverse Welcome Garden, Xeriscape Garden, Butterfly Garden, Vegetable garden, Canadian Heritage Rose garden, Fairy Garden and more. The gardens are open year-round. Our society gratefully requests a minimum donation $5.00 per person to keep us growing.
