Gustav opened the first bookbinding business in Vancouver and by 1893 moved into their new house in the West End. Roedde House is attributed to famed architect Francis Rattenbury and is a City of Vancouver-designated Class A Heritage House. Since 1980, the Roedde House Preservation Society has taken painstaking care to renovate and furnish the house to reflect the ambience of late Victorian family life. We are a year round guiding and rental business. We do riverboat tours to Kinuseo Falls in Tumbler Ridge. We also have other river destinations. We also do Jeep tours and guided ATV tours. Guided hiking tours are also available. We rent ATVs and kayaks as well as other camping equipment. Winter time brings guided snowshoe and snowmobile tours. We also rent avalanche gear, snowmobiles and snowshoes.
