Through its exhibits and archives, the Museum tells the story of the District of Lake Country and its four wards: Winfield, Oyama, Carrs Landing, and Okanagan Centre. The Museums artifacts include the histories of the orchard, wine, and ranching industries, turn of the century living, and collections from the early Japanese community.
The 100 Mile Nordics operate a groomed trail network for nordic skiing. Our lodge serves up hot soup and snacks daily. Rentals for skiing and snowshoeing are available. Night use is available until 10pm with the assistance of a timed lighting system. Payment at night is made in the honour box next to the lighting system.

ONSITE BICYCLE RENTALS on one of British Columbias wonders. Experience a part of the historical Kettle Valley Railway route built between 1912-1914. This well-established, interactive 24km trail is highlighted by 2 tunnels and 18 trestles. It offers spectacular views of Myra Canyon and Okanagan Lake. It is the best outdoor activity in Kelowna for the whole family. The track is located at an elevation of 1.260 meters, it is relatively flat and can be cycled within 4 hours. We rent new, branded comfort bicycles in sizes for adults and children, tandems and tag-alongs or child trailers to pull the little ones, tandems, and tricycle. Rental times May-October: 9am-1pm, 1:30pm-5:30pm. The Vagabond Lodge, is a boutique lodge located at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort Golden BC. All rooms are located on the upper level of this 3 story building. There is no elevator just so you are aware. The beautifully decorated rooms all have great views of the majestic Rocky Mountains. All bedrooms have private bathrooms with shower/tub enclosures and all bathrooms have heated floors. Vagabond Lodge does not have air conditioning but for the few days in the mountains where it may be considered hot by some standards, the windows all open to the fresh mountain air. Lower level features a pool table, games area with all sorts of board games and access to sauna and outdoor hot tub.
