We are a family style motel situated on Cortes Island, in beautiful British Columbia. Our motel offers ten comfortable and affordable rooms (most rooms have kitchenettes). We welcome families, pets, children, individuals with varying mobility and anyone who wants to experience our beautiful island community. We are situated centrally, close to all amenities and several of our island's most popular hiking trails, beaches & lakes. Picnic tables, BBQs, a campfire pit and hammock are all provided to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Welcome to the Denman Guesthouse at the earthclubfactory. We operate a guesthouse that is run in the spirit of a hostel. This 100 year property has had a complete redevelopment sewer, septic, roof, foundation, electrical. The water is filtered 2ce and runs throw a UV system and is tested monthly for the Bistro. It has some odour, typical of this area, but blame mother earth. We have slowly been fixing the fundamentals but it remains in the character it was 100 years ago. The Earth Club Factory guiding principles are biodegradable, sustainable appropriate technology , organics. To a certain degree we incorporate this into our business, and always strive to do more. The Bistro is a great place to enjoy our home roasted coffee, yes done on 2 special BBQS. Simple affordable food, numerous music event, country views, lots or deer and peace and quiet.

We have a very unique fishing lodge, our lodge is located on the northern tip of Vancouver Island on the inside.WE fish for salmon five minutes away from the lodge,With some of the best fishing ground's on Vancouver Island. With halibut, ling cod , yellow eye and rock not even 15 to 20 minutes away. With out the big swells you will find on the west coast of Vancouver Island.

Our trails are of varying degrees of difficulty and length to accommodate all levels of nordic skiers, for classic and skate techniques. The modern facility includes a comfortable lodge with washrooms, a racer's warming/waxing hut and some trails are specifically constructed to be Paralympic skiing friendly. Night skiing available with a 3 km lit loop open until 10.
