Serendipity Winery is a small, family-run winery nestled in the pristine hills of Naramata. We just opened in June 2011, and have already won 16 awards for our wines (as of July 2012). We specialize in quality, hand-crafted wines with a rich, full-bodied flavour. Our tasting room has a relax, laid back feel we try to let every visitor have a unique experience. Founded in 1993 and open year-round, Tinhorn Creek offers one of the valleys best wine experiences. No matter what your level of wine knowledge, our friendly winery team enthusiastically welcomes you and makes the culture of wine a fun experience. Tasting Room, Gift Shop, award-winning Miradoro Restaurant, Tours & Tasting Experiences, Demonstration Vineyard, Amphitheatre - Concerts & Events, Golden Mile Hike, Picnic Area & Patio, and Wine Club. We source fruit from our own vineyards: 150 acres of prime land on two very distinct benches - the Black Sage Bench and the Golden Mile Bench. The unique characteristics of each bench create the terroir-driven wines that are classic illustrations of the place they are grown. Open year-round March-May: 10am 5pm | May-September: 10am 7pm | September-October: 10am 6pm | Nov - Feb: 10am 4pm. Closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.

Now as a Tug boat captain since 2006 and a sport fishing guide since 2007, here in the local west coast waters Johns marine experience is second to none.

As a female business owner and entrepreneur with a background in marketing, it has been my dream to help grow and promote the local art community in Vancouver. I created Pacific Arts Market to showcase our city's local artistic talent and diversity. Local artists exhibit paintings, jewelry, pottery, photography, leather goods, woodwork and other crafts. My role is to be a catalyst that unites creative artisans with art-loving consumers. Once inside, all the unique & stunning pieces of art will speak for themselves. All Vancouverites are bound to find something that speaks to them. Passion overflows in all of these talented artists. You cant help but be swept up with it, too.

During the pandemic, the Sidney Street Market was transformed into the "Sidney Outdoor Markets". Its new location off Beacon Avenue, next to the Mary Winspear Centre, hosts two markets per week throughout the summer. The new location offers plenty of nearby parking, larger, less crowded laneways to walk, convenient public washrooms and a wonderful variety of local and regional growers, producers, artists, musicians and creators that consist of many of our old favourites along with loads of new, exciting vendors. All of this is still just steps away from beautiful downtown Sidney and the many shops, restaurants and waterfront walkway. The Sidney Famer's Market takes place everything Sunday from 10 am to 2 pm beginning on Mother's Day, May 8 and ending on September 25. A gem of Vancouver Island Heritage; Filberg Park is nine acres of breathtakingly landscaped waterfront green space, gardens and heritage buildings, in Comox, British Columbia. The park features 130 varieties of trees, seasonal gardens, and hundreds of rhododendrons.At the heart of the site is the 1930s heritage lodge, the former home of local pioneers Robert and Florence Filberg. Filberg Heritage Lodge and Park have become a popular venue for picnics, weddings, art shows and special events including the popular Filberg Festival held each year on BC Day long weekend in August. Amenities include the Filberg Gift Shop* and Filberg Tea House.
