During the pandemic, the Sidney Street Market was transformed into the "Sidney Outdoor Markets". Its new location off Beacon Avenue, next to the Mary Winspear Centre, hosts two markets per week throughout the summer. The new location offers plenty of nearby parking, larger, less crowded laneways to walk, convenient public washrooms and a wonderful variety of local and regional growers, producers, artists, musicians and creators that consist of many of our old favourites along with loads of new, exciting vendors. All of this is still just steps away from beautiful downtown Sidney and the many shops, restaurants and waterfront walkway. The Sidney Famer's Market takes place everything Sunday from 10 am to 2 pm beginning on Mother's Day, May 8 and ending on September 25. The Chali-Rosso Gallery collection is primarily focused on graphic works by the Modern Masters, including Pablo PICASSO, Salvador DALI, Marc CHAGALL, Joan MIRO and Henri MATISSE. In addition, we also offer works by REMBRANDT, Pierre-Auguste RENOIR, Edgar DEGAS, Andy WARHOL and a variety of others. The gallery launched the Definitely Dali project in May 2017, continuing in 2018 and 2019.

The Osoyoos Desert Centre is a 67 acre nature interpretive facility where visitors can learn about desert ecology, habitat restoration and conservation of endangered ecosystems in the South Okanagan. Guests are invited to explore Canada’s desert by taking a guided or self-guided tour along a 1.5 km elevated wooden boardwalk. In addition, the Centre features an interpretive facility with hands-on exhibits and a native plant demonstration garden. Visitors can also browse through our Gift Shop, enjoy a snack in the outdoor picnic area, or relax at one of the kiosks and take in the spectacular views.
