Vaseux Lakeside Resort is a fully equipped, four-unit townhouse property, located in the sunny south Okanagan Valley of British Columbia. Our suites offer convenient configurations with peaceful, expansive views of the lake and mountains. The main floor entrance leads through the fully equipped kitchen into the dining and living area. Step out the glass slider onto the spacious deck, only a stone's throw from the beach and water's edge. The living area includes a double pullout sofa bed. Upstairs is the four-piece bathroom, as well as a handy washer and dryer. Walk down the hall, into the airy peaked ceiling bedroom, with queen bed, walk-in closet, and private balcony. View an abundance of marine life, including blue heron, bald eagles, whales, seals and many other species. Kayaks and paddle board rentals are available to paddle along the tranquil beachfront on the east coast of Vancouver Island. Relax in our oceanfront hot tub while watching wildlife such as Bald eagles soaring and cruise ships passing by. Gather around a beach bonfire to roast marshmallows or weenies. or cook clams/oysters picked from our beach. We have a giant tide pool, which acts as a hands on aquarium for the kids to see the many species of marine life that gets caught up every tide changes. The Deep Bay Marine Field research station is near by that has live tanks, and tours that explains about the many species they will find. Qualicum Breeze Beach Resort is a short 5 minute walk from town where you will find grocery's, liquor store, bank. pharmacy. Also you can browse through the Salish Sea Art studio and the intriging gift shop. There is also a Pub, Legion and number of local restarants to visit. .Centrally located for day trips to many points of interest on Vancouver Island. Hike on trails through pristine local Provincial Parks like Cathederal Grove, Little Qualicum Falls, or Rathtrevor Provincial Park or explore the Horne Lake Caves. Numerous shops in Qualicum Beach or Coombs on the way to Parksville.
