Selkirk Mountain Experience has been listed as a "Best Adventure Travel Company on Earth" by National Geographic Adventure, three times. We are a family owned and operated adventure travel company, based at the Durrand Glacier Chalet, outside Revelstoke BC. This is a remote lodge, accessed by helicopter only. During summer months we offer alpine hiking with over 90 km of trails in a pristine and exclusive setting. Our 18 guests and resident marmots and mountain goats are the only beings using this trail network! In the winter we offer backcountry skiing, in the mecca of alpine powder skiing. Our 96 square km of private tenure offer some of the best skiing on earth, both in the alpine and in the trees. Glades, burns, 30+ summits, 10+ glaciers and the deepest snowpack in the Selkirk Mountains. In addition to the Durrand Glacier Chalet, we have two smaller chalets which we use to do overnight ski trips into the further reaches of our area. All three huts are clean, cozy and beautiful wooden chalets. The Durrand Glacier Chalet is our home base, with 11 private bedrooms and a spacious washroom facility steps from the bedrooms. This facility includes hot running showers, sinks and full indoor plumbing attached to a septic system. We also have a new sauna built in summer 2020 (primarily for winter use). The Durrand has fabulous alpine cuisine, with a private chef and a full staff of friendly, hard-working SME family. Our cottages are some of the few remaining historic Union Steamship Company cottages, built in the 1920s, that have been carefully preserved to maintain their original character. The kitchens are fully equipped: with a coffee maker, microwave oven, cooking utensils, cutlery, china, glassware, dish soap and more. We provide linens, towels, firewood and a barbeque. All accommodations have a view of Snug Cove and are child and pet friendly.

The Grist Mill Campground is a small creekside campground on Keremeos Creek, and is part of the Grist Mill and Gardens Historic Site. Each of the eleven serviced campsites back onto the creek and have both water and power. There are also two tent-only sites without creek access. Washrooms are available to campers 24 hours a day. During the daytime, our restaurant is open for lunch and our lovely gardens and site are open for tours.

Your "halfway" stop between Fort St John and Fort Nelson. Home style cooked meals using top choices in meats and produce. We welcome all Highway travelers with friendly service. Recent renovations to a number of our motel rooms. We are also the local Greyhound Depot for the area. Provincial Campground is available for your camping pleasure (seasonal). Gas, Diesel, and Propane when available.

the Red Goat Lodge located on the northern end of Eddontenajon Lake in the heart of northern BC's pristine forests, mountains, rivers and lakes. We offer warm rooms with private baths and mountain views. We also have a 20plus site lakeside campground with hook ups and laundry/showers/flush toilets We do not offer WIFI. There is a payphone located at office entrance. This is NOT luxury lodging. simple. rustic. warm. WE DO NOT SERVE FOOD and ask that people come prepared for this. Summer time there is a restaraunt 10 minutes south of us and just north of us in Iskut there is a small, very limited in selections, grocery/gas station.

The Fair at the PNE is the best part of summer! For the last two weeks of August through the Labour Day long weekend, The Fair features more than 50 rides and attractions, nightly concerts, live performances, agricultural and animal displays, games, and food. It's fun for all ages plus children 13 years and under are free with an adult admission. The Pacific National Exhibition (PNE) fairgrounds was established in 1910 to showcase British Columbia. The PNE operates on a 114-acre site at the City of Vancouver-owned Hastings Park and consists of Playland, the annual 15-day Fair at the PNE, and Fright Nights at Playland. The PNE also includes year-round rental facilities for concerts, conventions, trade shows and sporting events with the Pacific Coliseum the largest venue within Hastings Park. The Pacific Coliseum was proud to be the official venue for Short Track Speed Skating and Figure Skating during the 2010 Winter Olympic Games and is currently home to the WHL's Vancouver Giants hockey team. No single location in Vancouver captures the spirit and history of this city, its people and its many achievements as the Pacific National Exhibition. For over 100 years, millions of guests have enjoyed shows, exhibits, sporting events, amusement rides, concerts, cultural activities and, of course, the annual Fair at the PNE. The 2017 Fair at the PNE is August 19 to September 4 (closed Monday, August 21 & 28)

Mount Baker RV Park is located alongside scenic Josephs Creek at 1501 1st Street South in Cranbrook, BC. The park is located within walking distance to downtown Cranbrook for convenient shopping and restaurants. We are close to the Cranbrook History Centre, Fort Steele Heritage Town and much more. There are 5 great golf courses within minutes of the park. Close by is Rails to Trails, the Rotary Walkway, Rotary Park which includes a fabulous splash park and the Western Financial RecPlex (aquatic centre, hockey arena, squash or racquetball and outdoor fitness circuit). Pickle ball courts, softball and soccer fields, are also just a short distance away where you can enjoy your regular fitness and fun activities. We welcome tourists, summer vacationers, family visitors, family reunions, golfers, anglers and sports teams. Campers are encouraged to bring a pressure water reducer valve as the park has a high PSI rating of 115. Power generators may not be used in the park.
