Since 1990 we have been exploring gorgeous Vancouver Island and mainland BC coastline by Kayak. From paddling with orca whales in Johnstone Strait and grey whales in Clayoquot Sound. To watching sea otters from camp in the Nuchatlitz archipligeo, and walking in the prints of wolves and bears on the remote beaches of Brookes Peninsula and the shores of the Central coast. The cabins are set on or near the lake, with gorgeous views of the lake & the coast mountains. Enjoy campfires at your private fire pit or in our large, screened in gazebo. One pet per cabin is welcome in 4 of the cabins. Two RV sites & One Tent site available, all firewood is provided. Rent a boat or bring your own and enjoy fishing for wild rainbow trout. The SS Sicamous is the largest surviving paddle wheeler in Canada. It is open as a heritage site, museum and wedding venue. Launched in 1914, the ship provided a vital means of transport to remote communities on the shores of Okanagan Lake. The SS Sicamous is operated by the SS Sicamous Society: a non-profit organization that works to protect the marine heritage of the Okanagan.Funds from your admission go directly to the restoration of the SS Sicamous, and the other heritage ships in our care.

We fish from April to June in Nanoose Bay, near Nanaimo for Chinook, then move over to Port Alberni, Barkley Sound and Bamfield from June to September. We only use the best fishing tackle available to maximize your experience. If you are looking for multi-day lodge trips we specialize in placing our guests in lodges in Bamfield and Barkley Sound. We offer trips customized to large corporate teams, as well as families with children. Sea Kayaking is a fun-tastic way to explore and two of British Columbias most unique and scenic kayak destinations, Desolation Sound Marine Park and the Copeland Islands Marine Park. Quite often we will be followed by nosy seals, playful river otters and sometimes even by an impressive sea lion. With a bit of luck we could encounter a pod of Killer Whales or even a Humpback Whale in Desolation Sound or Salish Sea. Throughout the seasons many bird species choose this area to forage or breed. Frequent sightings of bald eagles, various ducks and shore-birds are not uncommon. We focus on SMALL GROUPS and personal attention. One of Pentictons unique and favourite summer activities is floating down the River Channel. Visitors are invited to rent inner tubes and rafts and take a leisurely ride down the 7 kilometre long Channel to Skaha Lake. The River Channel is located between Okanagan Lake and Skaha Lake. The float starts at the Coyote Cruises launch site at 215 Riverside Drive. If you need floating tubes and a ride back to your vehicle Coyote Cruises will provide both. If you are looking to rent a tube or raft or simply require transportation once you are done floating the Channel, Coyote Cruises can help you out. Pick up is at the end point only in 2020.
