Crowsnest Vineyards was purchased by the Heinecke family in 1985 when the Winery, Restaurant and Guesthouse were launched. Named after the Crowsnest Highway #3, the family was an early contributor to the development of the Similkameen wine region and the wine and food has continuously evolved over the years. Siblings, Sascha and Anna Heinecke were instrumental in the evolution of the business and with the retirement of their parents, took over leadership in 2018 with a bold new vision. The vision is built on the bounty of the regionthe opportunity to express the spectacular local terroir from which we craft our wines and from which grows amazing, fresh ingredients included in our menus, pantry and bakery. The Fair at the PNE is the best part of summer! For the last two weeks of August through the Labour Day long weekend, The Fair features more than 50 rides and attractions, nightly concerts, live performances, agricultural and animal displays, games, and food. It's fun for all ages plus children 13 years and under are free with an adult admission. The Pacific National Exhibition (PNE) fairgrounds was established in 1910 to showcase British Columbia. The PNE operates on a 114-acre site at the City of Vancouver-owned Hastings Park and consists of Playland, the annual 15-day Fair at the PNE, and Fright Nights at Playland. The PNE also includes year-round rental facilities for concerts, conventions, trade shows and sporting events with the Pacific Coliseum the largest venue within Hastings Park. The Pacific Coliseum was proud to be the official venue for Short Track Speed Skating and Figure Skating during the 2010 Winter Olympic Games and is currently home to the WHL's Vancouver Giants hockey team. No single location in Vancouver captures the spirit and history of this city, its people and its many achievements as the Pacific National Exhibition. For over 100 years, millions of guests have enjoyed shows, exhibits, sporting events, amusement rides, concerts, cultural activities and, of course, the annual Fair at the PNE. Kayaking is the best way to see Victoria. We specialize in safe, fun and educational kayak tours of Victoria's Harbour and waterfront. Our floating location at Fisherman's Wharf is a 10 minute walk from the cruise ship terminal and 20 minutes from downtown on the scenic boardwalk. We are the closest kayak shop to the Juan de Fuca straight, so when conditions allow, we will paddle along the coast to the kelp forests and an island the harbour seals frequent. Along the way we may see different shore birds like eagles, osprey, oystercatchers, cormorants, and the great blue heron. Starfish, jelly fish and kelp crabs are usually hiding just below the surface. Kayaking is easy and we make it easier by offering paddling jackets, gloves and a bottle of water. Plus on our kayak launch you won't even get your feet wet!

We have 20 acres of beautiful land to explore! Our 10 Glamping tents are huge and spacious. They are decorated to suit the most discerning of tastes. Outfitted with Queen size beds and a multitude of cots and floor mattresses to accommodate even the biggest of groups. We have a big campfire and multiple places to picnic and share a meal with your family and friends. Hit up our pens and spend some time with our Jersey calf Skim, Flemish giant rabbit (Bad), our Kunekune pig (Trippie Redd), Nubian buckling Noodles, and 2 billy goats (Silly and Billy). You could also cozy on down by the fire at night and enjoy a drink... or a puff! Listen to some music and have a good old time. Escape the city and see what farm life is really about! 9 minutes to Kalamalka Beach! 8 minutes to Vernon and all its amenities, world-class off-roading, mountain biking, ATV trails, orchards, and wineries.
