Situated alongside Hallamore Lake, Alpine Meadows Resort is 24 KMs outside of Clearwater BC, the gateway to Wells Gray Provincial Park. Choose from chalet, log suite or log home accommodations; or come see whats under the stars, and camp in your RV or one of our glamping tents. CHECK IN: Starts at 3 PM. Please note, Alpine Meadows is a small and remote resort, we do not operate a 24-hour Front Desk. Guests who anticipate arriving later than 9 PM should contact the resort in advance to confirm check-in procedures/availability. ** We are unable to accommodate arrivals after 9 PM without prior arrangements. ** DINING: Our onsite restaurant, The Boathouse, is open for breakfast and dinner daily. Dinner is by reservation only, please contact us directly in advance of your stay for available dinner times and to reserve, our restaurant closes after the last reservation has been served. Facilities: 16 campsites, pit toilets, water hand pump. Location: 5 km west of Rock Creek on Highway 3. Johnstone Creek is a quiet, forested campground just off Highway 3. Whether you are looking for relaxation in a beautiful nature setting or are seeking a well situated roadside stopover 35 minutes west of Osoyoos, this campground is less than 10 minutes from Rock Creek and Kettle River Recreation Area. Campsites are often available for last-minute campers in peak months. Fees are cash only and are self-registration. The park has 38 hectares of mature Douglas fir, larch and spruce trees that provide habitat for woodpeckers and other cavity nesting bird species. White-tailed deer are often seen in the park. Wildlife viewing opportunities can be observed from the short nature loop hike and lookout trail. Open from the May Long Weekend through the second weekend in September.

Cape Scott Provincial Park is a truly magnificent area of rugged coastal wilderness that is located at the northwestern tip of Vancouver Island, 563 kilometres from Victoria. Cape Scott is characterized by more than 115 kilometres of scenic ocean frontage, including about 30 kilometres of spectacular remote beaches. The rugged North Coast Trail is a challenging and popular 43.1 km hiking track that connects many pristine beaches by stretches of tough overland passage. The park stretches from Shushartie Bay in the east, then westward around Cape Scott and south to San Josef Bay. Rocky promontories, salt marshes and jagged headlands punctuate the fine-textured, white-sand beaches. The most impressive of these beaches, Nels Bight, stretches more than 2,400 metres long and 210 metres wide at low tide, and is one of the parks most popular camping destinations. Other significant beaches include San Josef Bay, Guise Bay, Experiment Bight, Lowrie Bay and Nissen Bight.
