Leghorn Ranch is a Premier Full Service Horseback Trail Riding outfit just 30 minutes from Vancouver. We offer guided horseback riding tours from March through to October. Our well trained horses are the heart and soul of our company. We hand select and train all of our own horses at Leghorn Ranch. We specialize in guided Trail rides for groups or families. Children 6 and up can go on the trails. We are unique in the fact that we are a Western Ranch and have real Cowboys and Cowgirls here to help you have a fantastic experience. The Visitor Centre is housed in the historic Bank of Montreal building (built 1897) and the building also contains the Silvery Slocan Museum. We are open part-time during May and June, then will be open 7 days a week from July 1st until Labour Day weekend in September.

Explore the waters and shoreline surrounding Alder Bay on a three and a half hour guided kayak tour. Using stable double kayaks, these kayak tours are suitable for everyone even those with no prior kayaking experience. As we quietly kayak along the shore we often see bald eagles dotting the trees and curious harbour seals popping their heads above the water as we pass.

James Walton opened this infamous East Vancouver brewery in 1994 and today he continues to brew some of the most interesting and delicious beers in the city. Storm is well known for their unique selection of weekly rotating "Brainstorm" brews. You may sample up to 6 different beers by cash donation. The property is adjacent to the Nature Trust Conservation lands, Chehalis River Hatchery and Sts'Ailes Reserve lands. Nearby are golf, skiing, boating and wildlife viewing opportunities.
