ArtCraft is the longest running fine arts and crafts shows in BC and the home to the work of over 100 fine artists and craftspeople, representing the very best of Salt Spring and the Gulf Islands. VanDusen Botanical Garden is a 55-acre oasis in the heart of Vancouver with over 7,500 plant species and varieties from around the world! Sea otter Enhydra Lutris and whale watching tours in Esperanza Inlet on the west coast of north Vancouver Island. Boat tours last about 5 hours with shore break. The price of $600 is per boat charter; there is a 12 person limit. Accommodation & meal packages available. Sea otters can be viewed year round, Humpback whales usually show up late spring to fall. Black bears can be spotted after April.

Learn about B.C. freshwater fish, recreational fishing and hatchery operations at our self-guided visitor centre. Guided tours and birthday parties can be organized- please contact us for more information. The Visitor Centre is open everyday from 9.00am - 3.00pm. The outdoor fishing ponds are open to the public May 1st to October 31st from dawn to dusk. Pond may be closed to the public during registered programs. Please call ahead to confirm availability.

Crowsnest Vineyards was purchased by the Heinecke family in 1985 when the Winery, Restaurant and Guesthouse were launched. Named after the Crowsnest Highway #3, the family was an early contributor to the development of the Similkameen wine region and the wine and food has continuously evolved over the years. Siblings, Sascha and Anna Heinecke were instrumental in the evolution of the business and with the retirement of their parents, took over leadership in 2018 with a bold new vision. The vision is built on the bounty of the regionthe opportunity to express the spectacular local terroir from which we craft our wines and from which grows amazing, fresh ingredients included in our menus, pantry and bakery.
