Ecologically-minded whale watching and wildlife tours located in the beautiful seaside town of Sidney, British Columbia on Vancouver Island. We are located at the gateway to the magical Gulf Islands National Park Reserve among the Salt Spring archipelago, one of the most beautiful cruising grounds on the planet. We offer three-hour tours everyday from March-October, as well as private charters for a variety of functions. Our captain/naturalist guides are extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the local wildlife and area, and love to share their knowledge. Family owned and operated for over 20 years, come share our passion for the beautiful region called the Salish Sea.

We are a 100% certified organic cidery located on the beautiful Salt Spring Island. We bought our property in 2011 and became certified organic shortly after in 2013. Currently, the ingredients in the majority of our products are grown on property using our over 3,500 apple trees consisting of over 450 varieties. What we dont source from our orchard, we get from other farms on Salt Spring Island. We mainly focus on dry cider as we feel it best captures the complexity and taste of our apples, however with our incredible range of 16 ciders, we have something for everyone. If our ciders didnt catch your attention, the view from our tasting room and orchard sure will! We sit on over 3 acres of land with an unbelievable view of the water and mountains. Moosehaven Resort and Campground is 12 acres of trees and grassy meadows nestled on the shore of Hathaway Lake in the South Cariboo region of British Columbia. Blackwood Lane Winery was the dream of Carlos Lee and that of his oenophile partners. Their goal was simple, to produce wines that lived up to their high standards and expectations. Their philosophy is summarized in the Companys motto: Bonus Vita et Bonus Amici (Good Life and Good Friends). As wine lovers, they realized that people in the Greater Vancouver area had to travel to the Okanagan Valley in order to acquire the best wines of the province, so they decided to bring the wines to them. Accordingly, they set up their boutique winery in the heart of the Fraser Valley wine corridor, only minutes from Vancouver, on 12.2 acres of the most beautiful south facing slopes in the area. The winery has a beautiful patio and an authentic stone pizza oven!

A 28 acre private nature park. We have a No Amplified Music policy which means no music please. Of course, that does not mean that the campground runs in a meditative state, as acoustic guitar and singing is welcome. The entire property, including washrooms and pay showers, are immaculate. Paradise Valley Campgrounds location is known as front country this area is a natural habitat for many forms of wildlife. Typically, wild animals fear humans and are rarely seen or heard. If they are attracted by food and/or garbage left out around the campground, their fear diminishes and they become what is known as habituated; the fear is gone and they take what they want. Keeping our property clean has prevented wildlife from becoming habituated. To this end the campground provides several bear proof garbage and recycling containers.

Since 1986 we have been operating tours in the pristine waterways of Queen Charlotte Strait, Johnstone Strait (Robson Bight), and Blackfish Sound. This area is considered the best place to find Northern resident orca. Large numbers of humpback whales also congregate here during the summer months. Other marine mammals such as Biggs (transient) orca, minke whales, Pacific white-sided dolphins, Dalls porpoises, sea otters, Northern sea lions, and harbour seals are regularly sighted on tours. We take 11 people maximum and pride ourselves in offering a more personalized approach to whale watching. The small group sizes offer more intimacy with the wildlife and an opportunity to interact with the skipper. The boat has a marine toilet onboard and provides enough space that when stationary, guests are welcome to move about the boat to take photographs and enjoy the dynamic scenery and wildlife.
