When you experience them up close, you learn that they are more than predators from the sky; they are essential to maintaining the delicate eco-balance of our planet. The Raptors offer compelling and interactive experiences with a variety of birds of prey species including eagles, hawks, falcons and owls. Get closer than you ever imagined to these majestic and intelligent creatures. Flying demonstrations, hands-on encounters and educational talks offered daily (March - October). The Raptors is located in the heart of the beautiful Cowichan Valley, just 60 minutes north of Downtown Victoria and 45 minutes south of Downtown Nanaimo by car.

The Beachside Motel is located next to beautiful Skaha Beach and Skaha Beach Park with access to tennis courts, a playground, water spray park and beach volleyball courts. Enjoy the family orientated environment and take advantage of our central courtyard with BBQs, picnic tables and playground a perfect space to relax and enjoy your holiday with friends and family.

Welcome to Mackenzie Beach Resort! A beachfront collection of beachfront cabins, modern suites, camping, re-imagined vintage Airstreams and RV sites. We might be biased, but its the best beach in Tofino. Maybe the world? We hate to boast but the awe-inspiring sunsets, marshmallow roasting campfires mixed with a family friendly (and adorable dog-friendly) stretch of sand is hard to beat. If thats not enough, well top it off with a hospitality staff that goes far beyond making your stay unforgettable and will end with a feeling that youve made some new best friends. We have a new lobby complete with a General Store with drinks, food, rental fire pits and electric bikes, art, staple grocery and camping goods. The facilities include new camping bathrooms, showers and coin laundry facilities. Our group of onsite amenities is ever growing, so check our website for what's new! Beyond Bliss Suites & Spa have two different accommodation offerings, both are beautifully modern, clean and comfortable. There are four one bedroom suites with a King Bed and Queen pullout sofabed, full kitchens,jetted tubs and private balconies. The suites are 700 - 800 sq feet in size and are very comfortable for two and spacious enough for four guests. Two of these suites have an ocean view with a sweeping view of the straight, the mountains and all the local ocean wildlife. **NOTE: there is NO ELEVATOR at this property and it is one flight of stairs from the main reception on Marine Ave if you choose a suite. There are also 3 hotel rooms with ocean views and a semi private deck. They have no kitchen facilities, no bathtub but a lovely shower and are STREET LEVEL entry with no stairs from Marine Ave. With a full service day spa and great retail onsite we are conveniently located in the heart of downtown Powell River with lots of restaurants and shopping to walk to.

This well-treed campground offers a private and peaceful setting for campers of all kinds, with a deep forest on the south end in the first-come, first-served section, transitioning to a wetland on the north end in the reservable section. Lowhee Campground has 47 campsites that can be booked in advance, as well as 33 campsites in the first-come, first-served section. It features a playground, three washroom buildings with flush toilets and potable water, as well as a coin-operated shower house. Bear-proof garbage and recycling bins are offered in central locations throughout the campground. All campsites are equipped with a wheelchair-accessible picnic table and campfire ring. Firewood is available for an additional fee of $10 per day. Campsites are an average of 50 feet long and 14 feet wide and can accommodate most trailers and RVs when backed into the sites. Pull-through sites are available in the Forest Rose Campground. Lowhee Campground is located along the west side of Barkerville Highway, 2 km north of the Barkerville Visitor Centre. Guests can travel back and forth from the Historic Zone to Lowhee via the highway, or via a well-groomed walking path alongside the highway. Lowhee Campground is part of the 1,100-hectare property that forms Barkerville Historic Town & Park and is managed by Barkerville Heritage Trust.

Once a church, our log lodge is perched on a knoll on the south shore overlooking the Johnstone Strait. The beach is just steps away. Constructed entirely of cedar, the Great Room (the former worship room) of this magnificent building features vaulted 14 cedar ceilings, four conversation nooks and a dining room with ocean and mountain views. Indigenous art hangs on our walls, and books of many variations grace our library. Outside is a wrap around sundeck. The lodge is the perfect place to take in the ocean, inhale the cedar aroma and loose yourself in the serene vibe of this place. We offer wildlife trip bookings, a choice of four included hot breakfasts, and a dinner service. Wifi and parking are included.

Bell Mountain Motel is situated in a quiet rural setting yet it is only one block off the highway. All rooms are ground level and non smoking. We have pet rooms and there is two acres for them to stretch their legs. Double and single rooms are available and most rooms have full kitchenettes. WiFi and brand new TV's with 150+ satellite channels are in each room. Kitchens have microwaves, coffee makers, fridge, cook tops and dishes and cutlery. There is lots of free parking and a large turn around at the end for trucks hauling trailers. Seasonal hot tub, horse shoe pit, BBQ and fire pit (subject to firebans) available for our guests to enjoy. We have a few rooms which are wheel chair accessible.
