Whistler Olympic Park RV & Campground is a new camping destination in BCs Sea to Sky Corridor. It is located within and operated by the iconic Whistler Olympic Park in the Callaghan Valley, 30 minutes south of Whistler and 40 minutes north of Squamish. It provides over 50 campsites, with 20 full-service RV sites and 19 unserviced multi-use sites for tenting and smaller recreational vehicles, the only group camping site in the area and overflow sites.The campground operates from early summer to fall annually, thereby complementing Winter Olympic Parks winter offerings as a cross-country skiing and snowshoeing destination and Nordic sport training centre. The Hedley Museum is closed for the 2022 season now. Opening again in May of 2023. Opening hours generally include Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Mondays 10:00-4:00pm. In 2023 we hope to be open 7 days a week for July and August. A charming heritage museum in the heart of the Similkameen Valley, that shares the towns gold mining history. The building houses a gift shop, tea room and an amazing collection of photos, stories and artifacts. The back garden is shaded and provides a welcome place to sit and enjoy the day. The building is wheel accessible and air conditioned. Admission is by donation and our tour guides will gladly show you around the museum. Also lots of brochures, maps and info for tourists & visitors at the info booth inside the museum.
