The coolest new activity in the Kootenays! Kokanee Mountain Zipline will provide customers with the incredible freedom of flight high above Kokanee Creek and a view of the variety of natural flora and fauna, while at the same time encouraging preservation of the area's significant natural resources and history. The Kootenay-Columbia Discovery Centre offers environmental education programs, events and tours at the Creston Valley Wildlife Management Area (CVWMA). The CVWMA is a 17,000 acre wetland habitat that is internationally recognized as a wetland of importance (Ramsar Site) as well as an Important Bird Area of Canada. Educational initiatives include: school programs, summer nature camps, guided canoe and walking tours, and a variety of special events suitable for people of all ages. Join us seasonally from May-October for programs. Access to trail systems that meander through the wetland is possible year round. Viewing towers and boardwalks provide unique opportunities to explore this magical place.

Revelstoke Mountain Resort (RMR) is a true, year-round adventure destination. In summer, RMR is home to the Pipe Mountain Coaster; North America's first Brandauer mountain coaster. This exhilarating ride features 1.4 kilometres of twists and turns all the while travelling at speeds of up to 42/kmph. The Resort also features a four-storey Aerial Adventure Park, a 9-hole Disc Golf course, sightseeing, and an extensive network of hiking and mountain biking trails. In the winter months, Revelstoke Mountain Resort receives 30-40 feet of annual snowfall, covering 1,263 hectares (3,121 acres) of alpine bowls, steeps, glades, and groomers with a descent of 1,713 vertical meters (5,620 feet) - the most in North America. The Resort has two high-speed quad chairs, one fixed-grip quad chair, an eight-passenger gondola and a dedicated beginner slope with Magic Carpet conveyor lift.
