Historic Joy Kogawa House is the childhood home of Canadian author Joy Kogawa. Joy and her family lived in the house until 1942, when they were sent to an internment camp along with thousands of other Canadians of Japanese descent. Now used as a site for author residencies and literary events, the house stands as a historical reminder of the internment experience of Japanese Canadians during WW2.

The Curve of Time offers multi-day, wildlife & wilderness eco-tours in coastal British Columbia and Southeast Alaska. Every season, our experienced crew maps out the most unique destinations across the West Coast.

We fish two different premiere locations. Haida Gwaii (Queen Charlotte Islands) located offshore in the North Pacific and Port Hardy (Vancouver Island). Although, both locations are considered a rain forests and are known for culture, beauty and marine life, they are both arguably known best for their legendary bounties of salmon & halibut. Nestled in the beautiful Cowichan Valley our 50-acre estate has the perfect microclimate that allows us to grow 7-different varietals, ranging from fruity whites to full-bodied reds that are unique to Vancouver Island. Enrico wines are winning medals across Canada and the United States. We are opened all year round and invite you to visit us to enjoy a sample of our wines in our tasting room.

This five-acre petting zoo is particularly suitable for families with younger children.

Sea to Sky Expeditions has been offering amazing wilderness experiences throughout BC and the Yukon since 1988. We offer exciting multi-day hiking, canoeing and sea kayaking trips that allow you to unplug and at the same time reconnect with nature, friends and fun.

The BC Wine Information Centre is a wine store with a difference. We love BC wine because it is our home. Our staff have years of intimate wine knowledge that can only come from living in wine country. We commute past vineyards daily and have casual conversations with winemakers weekly when they deliver their wines or shop in our store. We stock over 900 wines from more than 150 BC wineries. Our wine fridge is stocked with ready-chilled bottles of white, rosé, and sparkling wine and The Icon Room features only the most exclusive wines produced in BC. In addition, we have a wide variety of wine accessories, local gourmet food products, gift items, and books about food and wine. We can produce custom gift-baskets or select from ready-made baskets that are always on display. You can join our Wine Club and receive regular shipments of the wines that caught out attention. We can also arrange worry-free shipping of your wine collection home from your touring experiences in the Okanagan.
