Having grown grapes for the last 20 years we have established ourselves as one of the premier award winning grape growers in the valley. Our story started with our family immigrating from India in the 1990's and making Okanagan our home. We have always worked to establish ourselves as hard working and determined family. The name Kismet is derived from the Punjabi word 'destiny'.

The main home has an open concept living,dining & kitchen area accessing a full length balcony with a beautiful waterfront view. There are 2 bedrooms each with their own en-suite bathroom and shower. The'Dublin room' has a queen bed and single with patio door access to two balconies with a view. The 'London room' has a queen bed & private outdoor access. Both bedrooms have flat screen tv, as does the living room. Sofa bed sleeps 2. All amenities are near by, as are hiking trails, parks & a winery. There is also a small eco-friendly cabin available with large private deck with a view, small kitchenette, & private bathroom & shower set off the deck.

We are a family style motel situated on Cortes Island, in beautiful British Columbia. Our motel offers ten comfortable and affordable rooms (most rooms have kitchenettes). We welcome families, pets, children, individuals with varying mobility and anyone who wants to experience our beautiful island community. Fossil Beach Farm is a private 80 acre waterfront working farm. We offer glamping in our fully finished bell tents overlooking the Salish Sea and fresh cider fermented from our on site and other Hornby orchards. Our tasting room offers 5 different ciders, experimental tap, and non-alcoholic choices available in tasting flights, growlers, or prepackaged to be enjoyed in our picnic area or to go. We now offer farm to table BBQ in our outdoor kitchen during tasting hours.

Adventure Ready - Our crosstrek vehicles are fully outfitted for hassle-free adventure. Pack your sleeping bags, pillows, groceries, bucket list, and adventurous selves and we have the rest covered! Connect your smartphone to apple carplay or android auto and hit the road with ease… and a map! The rooftop tents comfortably sleep two adults, and there are storage options to bring an extra tent so a few more friends or kids can tag along. Enjoy interior lighting for late-night reading, a solar power bank to keep your phone charged, power station to charge your batteries between stops and a 3” foam mattress. Plus, we include two headlamps to make your way around safely after dusk. Full rear hatch kitchen with electric cooler and a two burner stove, sink, power station, faucet and prep area Pop up the hatch and you’ll find a functional kitchen with all of the fixings. This includes an electric cooler/freezer combo (no ice needed!), sink, and two-burner stove with propane, plus all the cookware, utensils, and cutlery down to a corkscrew and can opener that you’ll need while exploring. A jackery 500 power station fuels the fridge… this has enough juice to keep it cold for two days. If you’re putting some clicks on the crosstrek in between, it will charge as you drive and last much longer, and you can charge anything else that needs a boost in the meantime.
