The Canadian Museum of Flight is a great family day out. We inspire young people towards a passion for aviation and for science and technology more generally. We tell stories of our rich Canadian aviation history, stories people want to hear and stories people want told. Our hangar is packed with interesting displays and models, fascinating memorabilia and more. Our Museum is a very hands-on facility. Many of our aircraft can be touched, gently. Children can discover aircraft made not only from aluminum, but also from wood and fabric. Weather permitting, several aircraft are open for sitting and dreaming by kids (of all ages). Photo op! Blackfish Sailing Adventures offers sailing trips on a luxury 35 foot cruising yacht for half-day, full-day or overnight charters. We are also an accredited Sailing School and offer sailing and cruising courses from beginner to advanced levels.

We are now on winter hours. Open Saturdays 10-4 and by appointment the rest of the week. The Canadian Wildlife Museum is located just minutes north of Vernon B.C. We offer an outstanding arrangement of Wildlife Displays, most of which the average person would never see in the wild. There are over 350 mounted specimens, ranging in size from mice to bison, including over 120 birds of prey and over 115 different species of Canadian wildlife. There is also a large butterfly and moth collection. There are 45 viewing stations, with over 220 different scenes of wildlife. The excellence in taxidermy workmanship and amazing artwork is not just in the mounted animals but also in the natural detailed dioramas. There is also a Gift Shop with many very unique wildlife/nature related novelties, souvenirs, and gifts.

The MAC is a venue for art exhibitions, music performances and other arts and culture events and classes. The exhibitions in our two galleries change every six weeks. We have concerts and story telling events every month. Our git shop is full of art, jewellery, sculpture and all kinds of things all made by local artisans. There's always something going on!

We operate a world class fishing charter out of Ucluelet on the West Coast of Vancouver Island in British Columbia. Ucluelet waters provide some of the best Trophy Salmon fishing and Halibut fishing in the world.
