Castlegar Sculpturewalk is an annual exhibition of outdoor sculptures, located on a pleasant walking tour in downtown Castlegar. Viewers are encouraged to vote for their favourite sculpture via ballot - the winner of the People's Choice award is purchased by the City for the permanent collections. All of the artworks are available for sale or lease. Ballots/maps are located in red ballot boxes along the route (the start of the route is at the Kootenay Market (635 Columbia Avenue), though you can begin the walk from anywhere. Ballots/maps are also available at the Castlegar Chamber of Commerce, City Hall, or the Kootenay Gallery.

Whistler RV and Campground is under new management and ownership as of July 2013. We have planted trees in the RV section of the park, installed WiFi, as well as paved and re levelled all sites. The True Blue Lodge has 4 fully renovated cabins each featuring full modern kitchens with ranges, microwave, keurig coffee makers, kettles, toaster and pots and pans. Comfort features include queen sized beds, fold down double sized couches for extra guests, hardwood floors, DVD players, smart app TV (Netflix) and guest laundry room. You are able to rent DVDs from the property if desired. When in season, please enjoy the use of the large communal courtyard with BBQ area and outdoor fire pit. Lawn games can be found in the laundry room. True Blue Lodge is Pet and motorcycle friendly! There is Registered Massage Therapy service at additional cost available on the property as well. The Massage service is usually available Tuesday-Fridays.
