Higgin's Inn is a spacious well planned facility close to the most popular beach in Powell River. The suites are large former apartments, beautifully appointed, and fully equipped for short or long-term accommodation. Each suite has a full kitchen, dining room, living room private bath and one, two or three bedrooms. We also have our newest addition: A ground-floor accessibility suite with special features in the kitchen and bathroom to make our guests with mobility challenges extra comfortable. The Penthouse suite is our most popular especially for family and friends reunions.

Adventure awaits at Golden Skybridge, home to Canadas highest suspension bridges. We are now on winter hours. Open Saturdays 10-4 and by appointment the rest of the week. The Canadian Wildlife Museum is located just minutes north of Vernon B.C. We offer an outstanding arrangement of Wildlife Displays, most of which the average person would never see in the wild. There are over 350 mounted specimens, ranging in size from mice to bison, including over 120 birds of prey and over 115 different species of Canadian wildlife. There is also a large butterfly and moth collection. There are 45 viewing stations, with over 220 different scenes of wildlife. The excellence in taxidermy workmanship and amazing artwork is not just in the mounted animals but also in the natural detailed dioramas. There is also a Gift Shop with many very unique wildlife/nature related novelties, souvenirs, and gifts.

The Radium Hot Springs Visitor Information Centre is a central hub for information providing directions and advice on places to eat, to stay and to shop as well as activities and recreational opportunities. It performs an interpretive role for the natural, cultural and heritage history of the area. With the assistance from the Kootenay National Park Visitor Information Centre (April-October) the staff at the Radium Hot Springs Visitor Centre provides a wealth of information to visitors to Radium Hot Springs and the entire Columbia Valley. SunLund By-The-Sea RV Park & Cabins, in Lund BC, offers self-contained cabins and 32 full-service RV sites, ocean access and free wifi. The showers and laundromat are very, very clean. A 3-minute walk to restaurants, grocery store, kayak rentals, marina, boat tours, water taxi, hotel, and other shops. Security gate, 24-hour staff First Aid certified.
