We are budget-friendly motel in the heart of Lake Country. We offer 40 guest rooms, with a reception that is open 24 hours a day, making check-in for those traveling at early or late hours very convenient. Within only a few kilometers our guests can easily access the University of British Columbia, Kelowna International Airport, and a variety of world class wineries. We provide our guests with a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere that goes above and beyond for each guest. Our goal is to make each experience personable, and friendly from start to finish. Each member of our team is professionally trained to guarantee those travelling feel safe, and well rested. Our establishment is fully inspected 4 times a year by the Fire Dept., and we are fully insured should there be any type of liability. A scenic 40 minute ferry ride from Vancouver, situated on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, Up The Creek Backpacker's Lodge is 14km from the ferry terminal at Langdale. It is a charismatic, family-run cedar house nestled amongst many large cedar and fir trees, and is an easy 10-minute walk to the "Heart of the Roberts Creek". The lodge includes a guest kitchen, large sun-deck with hammocks and barbecue, friendly common areas, free loaner bikes, boardgames, and a resource library and book swap. You will have the choice to stay in our 7 bed-dorm Arbutus, or in one of our 3 private rooms: the Fir room (up to 4 people), the Cedar room (up to 5 people), and our lovely Cherry Cabin situated in our garden (up to 2 people).
