Plan your charter to fit your needs, We welcome kids on board to experience a fishing experience they will never forget!Born and raised here in Tofino BC, Owner/Operator John Nikiforuk grew up fishing off the local docks of Tofino catching bull heads, snagging crabs, and of course winning the legion derby for biggest bull head! Later in his teenage years he was lucky enough to have an older brother with a boat, they would fish every chance they had! John gives the upper hand with his knowledge and years of experience working on his families commercial Prawn and Tuna boat. Now as a Tug boat captain since 2006 and a sport fishing guide since 2007, here in the local west coast waters Johns marine experience is second to none.

The MAC is a venue for art exhibitions, music performances and other arts and culture events and classes. The exhibitions in our two galleries change every six weeks. We have concerts and story telling events every month. Our git shop is full of art, jewellery, sculpture and all kinds of things all made by local artisans. There's always something going on!

The museum consists of three galleries. The permanent gallery at Anvil Centre takes you on a journey of discovery, covering over 10,000 years of New Westminster history and ending in 2010. Gallery 7 picks up where the permanent gallery leaves off. This is a place of engagement and interaction, bringing forth the contemporary stories of our city through discussion, dialogue, and exhibition in a smaller intimate setting. The temporary gallery lets us take a deeper look into many of our city's more interesting and thought-provoking stories, individuals, and objects. The third gallery can be found at 1865 Irving House, the former colonial home of Captain William Irving, and one of the oldest community heritage sites in B.C.

The Deep Bay Marine Field Station provides many learning opportunities for the public. We have aquariums and touch tanks that help to interpret the local marine environment to our visitors. A visit to the station can be quite an interactive experience! We have both guided and self-guided tours that provide interpretation on several themes along with occasional public lectures and special events.

Facilities: 12 campsites, pit toilets, water hand pump, nature boardwalk. Location: 25 km south of Penticton on Highway 97. Vaseux Lake Provincial Park is a popular roadside campground that provides excellent fishing opportunities for bass, trout and carp. This park boasts beautiful lakeside sites. It is conveniently located on Highway 97 between OK Falls and Oliver. It is minutes away from amenities and popular tourist spots. Viewing platforms at Vaseux Wildlife Centre offer excellent nature sighting opportunities for birds, aquatic life, mountain goats and big horn sheep. Park users at Vaseux Wildlife Centre should use caution as poison ivy is common in the area. Open from the first weekend in April through Thanksgiving Weekend.

UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT AUGUST 1, 2023. Nimpo Lake Resort is situated in the beautiful West Chilcotin region of BC. Our full-service log cabins are a perfect blend of modern convenience & country charm. The cabins are set on or near the lake, with gorgeous views of the lake & the coast mountains. Enjoy campfires at your private fire pit or in our large, screened in gazebo. One pet per cabin is welcome in 4 of the cabins. Two RV sites & One Tent site available, all firewood is provided. Rent a boat or bring your own and enjoy fishing for wild rainbow trout. The Cariboo Ski Touring Club is a non-profit organization that caters to cross-country, skate skiing and snowshoers. We provide 75 km of groomed trails for both classic and skate skiing. We also have 10 km of snowshoe trails. We offer youth program, biatlhon and lessons. Rental Shop available for renting skiing and snowshoeing equipment. Day Lodge on site. Conveniently located along Highway 3, Boundary Creek campground is a well situated overnight stop and popular for those passing through the Boundary Region. Boundary Creek is a first come, first serve park and often has spots available, even during peaks periods. A slagheap and crumbling stack near the park mark the site of the historic BC Copper Co. smelter, which employed 400 people between 1901 and 1918. The quaint town of Greenwood is minutes away and offers many amenities, including restaurants, cafes and a pub. Open from early May through mid September.
