A 900 square foot building, that once was the MP shack, the museum is located to the south side of Patricia Way when entering the camp via way a RV Papa. The Museum was created in conjunction with the Cadet Training Center and the Vernon Museum to assist in the presentation and education of the Cadet Program in Canada as well as the history of the Vernon Military Camp.

Go With the Wind Cruises is the longest running cruise on Okanagan Lake. These are informative, personal (your party only and leaving at your convenience), with the option to power, sail, or both. Open year-round, the Sea to Sky Gondola is located 2km south of Squamish, BC along the beautiful Sea to Sky highway. The Sea to Sky Gondola is a wheelchair and stroller accessible 10 minute ride accessing walking & hiking trails, a suspension bridge, tube park (winter only) and local fare in the Summit Lodge.

Facilities: Public beach, day-use picnic area, flush toilets, change house. Location: Off Hwy 3, in the town of Christina Lake. Christina Lake has a reputation of being one of the warmest lakes in all of Canada and is very popular with families. With its 300 metres of fine sandy beach, people flock to this swimming destination in the summer months. There is no overnight camping at this location. The closest provincial park campground with overnight accommodation is Gladstone (Texas Creek campground), 10 km east of Christina Lake. Nearby provincial campgrounds that should be able to accommodate last-minute campers in July and August include Boundary Creek, Jewel Lake, and Nancy Greene.

Fossil Beach Farm is a private 80 acre waterfront working farm. We offer glamping in our fully finished bell tents overlooking the Salish Sea and fresh cider fermented from our on site and other Hornby orchards. Our tasting room offers 5 different ciders, experimental tap, and non-alcoholic choices available in tasting flights, growlers, or prepackaged to be enjoyed in our picnic area or to go. We now offer farm to table BBQ in our outdoor kitchen during tasting hours.

The Kootenay Lake Historical Society is the custodian of the S.S. Moyie, the world's oldest intact passenger sternwheeler. The Moyie plied Kootenay Lake for 59 years - it is now a National Historic Site and Museum. Open from May through October, visitors are taken back in time when the board the vessel. Fun for families and people of all ages!

This is a beautiful spot to come relax in a rustic log cabin on the lake! This fishing resort is 1.5 hours north west of Kamloops B.C. There are 8 log cabins total and five cabins that are lakefront with private docks. This amazing little place is tucked in the wilderness, where the natural beauty is. With sixteen lakes available to guests to fish with rowboats waiting for you, everyday is an adventure. The cabins at the resort all have row boats and electric motors included with you stay.
