Spectacular views of mountain peaks, Beaver, Eagles, Osprey, Herons and even Black Bears are regular sights that will have you eagerly wondering whats around the next bend. Unlike an amusement park ride River of Golden Dreams trips allow you to be an active participant, one of the reasons people keep coming back to paddle the river. In the spring the water levels can be high and moving though always flat and no rapids. By mid-summer water levels are gentle. By late summer the beaver start rebuilding their dams creating pools to paddle in. Guides are recommended, though experienced river paddlers go unguided. Our River trips have limited availability and often sell out, please pre book to assure your spot. Located at Lakeside Park minutes from Whistler Village.

The Lighthouse Motel is the perfect location any time of year to escape from life's stresses and relax. We are pet friendly and allow one dog per unit. We do not allow cats. We are centrally located for day trips to the Parkville-Qualicum area and Horne Lake, Tofino and Ucluelet and Mount Washington in the Courtenay/Comox Valley. Hiking, kayaking, skiing and snowboarding, golfing and fishing are an easy drive. For those who just want to enjoy the lovely sea breeze & fresh sea air, sit on our expansive seawall enjoy a good book, take in the view, watch eagles, kingfishers, ospreys, herons, seals and otters that frequent our oceanfront location.

Founded in 1987, Central Mountain Air (9M) is a Canadian regional airline with operating bases at Calgary International Airport (YYC), Vancouver International Airport (YVR) and Smithers Regional Airport (YYD). It flies to 15 destinations within Alberta and British Columbia. Central Mountain Air has a fleet of 20 aircraft: Three Dornier 328-100 planes that each hold 30 passengers, three Bombardier Dash 8 100 planes that each hold 37 travelers, and 14 Beechcraft 1900D planes that hold 18 passengers each. The carrier also operates charter flights.

We have four-1100 sq foot suites with central air, full kitchen, gas bbq, mountain views. Each suite contains 1 king bedroom & 2 queen bedrooms. All this situated on an organic farm.
