Dog Mermaid Eco Excursions, Kayak Rentals & Retreats specializes in Eco and indigenous education and tours, by means of kayaking, paddle boarding, hiking, kids camps, yoga, retreats, and dog sledding (in winter months). Based on Pender Island, our head office is located at Otter Bay Marina, just off the ferry. Along with having the beauty of launching from the bay, mobile services are available to suit your adventure design, and so is our new location on Salt Spring Island! In the world of heli-skiing, the northern Cariboo Mountains and the Canadian Rockies are legendary. An abundance of dry powder, immense open bowls, spectacular glacier skiing and gladed trees await our guests. Crescent Spur fills a unique niche in the heli-skiing market by limiting occupancy to a maximum of 20 guests per week. That leaves over 250 runs in 1,500 square miles of terrain for a maximum of 20 skiers! Our guides and lodge staff are passionate about creating the trip of a lifetime for every guest who joins us throughout the season, and many of our guests come back time and time again.

The Canadian Museum of Flight is a great family day out. We inspire young people towards a passion for aviation and for science and technology more generally. We tell stories of our rich Canadian aviation history, stories people want to hear and stories people want told. Our hangar is packed with interesting displays and models, fascinating memorabilia and more. Our Museum is a very hands-on facility. Many of our aircraft can be touched, gently. Children can discover aircraft made not only from aluminum, but also from wood and fabric. Weather permitting, several aircraft are open for sitting and dreaming by kids (of all ages). Photo op! Mongoose Striker Fishing Charters offer skippered salmon fishing charters with one of the most experienced guides on the BC coast. The boat is a 2006 29ft Tiara that is the 'ultimate fishing platform'. It is the nicest and best equipped charter boat on the coast and has a great reputation for catching fish. The vessel is big enough to offer all the amenities and comfort needed to enjoy a great day.

Explore the natural and human history of Smithers and the surrounding Bulkley Valley at the Bulkley Valley Museum! Located in the historic Central Park Building, the Museum features engaging and informative temporary and permanent displays on local history and culture, including Driftwood Canyon fossils, Witsuwit'en (Wet'suwet'en) history, and the the mystery of the American B-36 bomber that crashed in the mountains near Hazelton. King Pacific Lodge - Luxury Sport Fishing Located along the beautiful Central Coast of British Columbia. This floating lodge is relocated each summer to St. Johns Harbour, Milbanke Sound. The Nkmip Desert Cultural Centre is a 9,000 square-foot interpretive centre that exhibits 2 films, the Inkameep Day School Art Collection, indoor and outdoor interactive exhibits, a 1.5 km walking trail, and reconstructed traditional Okanagan village, and (visitor favourite) interpreter hosted programs which boast a fun filled experience for all ages! The centre is also an architectural marvel, and was built from local, sustainable materials.
