Casa Colina Bed & Breakfast is located just 15 minutes south of Penticton on nine scenic & secluded hilltop acres with a heated outdoor pool. Our southwestern adobe style property features three spacious B&B Suites and a separate, self-contained cottage. Each of the suites is decorated in a rustic yet casually elegant style with private entrances, full ensuite baths, and a deck or patio with panoramic views of the surrounding hills and valleys. The Cottage features a well-equipped kitchen, bright living room, large bathroom with a walk-in shower, private courtyard with a BBQ and a patio with a lovely view. Guests may prepare their own breakfasts or purchase breakfast at the main house. Our beautiful heated pool is just a short stroll from the house & cottage, set in a peaceful location surrounded by the desert pines. The Ladysmith Gallery hosts two art shows a month that are open to the public - a monthly member art show featuring a variety of artworks around a different theme from Vancouver Island and Gulf Island artists; followed by a 10 day guest artist exhibition. The location also features a curated gallery boutique shop with smaller artworks from over 50 artists. The boutique holds seasonal offerings as well. Other events that take place at the Ladysmith Gallery are art pop-ups with interactive art experiences, prestigious art exhibitions such as the biennial Fine Arts Show and late night shopping opportunities during the December season. Founded in 2004, the Smith Family built Howling Bluff Estate Winery and vineyard from scratch on our farm on Three Mile Rd that is now part of the famous Naramata Bench wine region. We released our first vintage, the 2006 Sauvignon Blanc, in the spring of 2007. Four BC Lieutenant Governor awards, one Silver in the Decanter World Wine awards, one Red Wine of the Year award, and too many other accolades to count later, Howling Bluff is now focused on finding the best expression of our vineyard for our wines while making sure we create a legacy of a sustainable family winery that our children will continue with far into the future. From our solar panels to our biodynamic, organic and most importantly to us sustainable farming and winemaking practices, added to our efforts to buying local when possible to our most ambitious mission yet: to use, as much as possible, products that have the lowest possible footprint on our planet.
