In the heart of the planets only inland temperate rainforest, board one of our specially designed boats for this smooth but exciting River Safari. Explore up to 12 kilometers of the spectacular Grizzly Bear Valley where the bears decide when and for how long we stop along the way! As you are travelling through glacier-fed rivers and lakes and going where it seems no boat has gone before, we hope to see wildlife among the river banks. In addition to an information-packed narrative, guides will point out glaciers and many waterfalls toppling from the surrounding snow-capped mountains. The River Safari is an absolute must-do activity. Your point of departure is conveniently located just north of Blue River off of Yellowed Highway #5, halfway between Jasper and Kamloops, as well as halfway between Mt. Robson and Wells Grey Park. Facilities: 16 campsites, pit toilets, water hand pump. Location: 5 km west of Rock Creek on Highway 3. Johnstone Creek is a quiet, forested campground just off Highway 3. Whether you are looking for relaxation in a beautiful nature setting or are seeking a well situated roadside stopover 35 minutes west of Osoyoos, this campground is less than 10 minutes from Rock Creek and Kettle River Recreation Area. Campsites are often available for last-minute campers in peak months. Fees are cash only and are self-registration. The park has 38 hectares of mature Douglas fir, larch and spruce trees that provide habitat for woodpeckers and other cavity nesting bird species. White-tailed deer are often seen in the park. Wildlife viewing opportunities can be observed from the short nature loop hike and lookout trail. Open from the May Long Weekend through the second weekend in September.
Bavin Glassworks is a family owned and operated working Art Studio and Gallery specializing in Blown Glass. Established in 1988 by Pat Bavin, Bavin Glassworks continues to operate much the same way as it always has. People are welcome to view the glassblowers at work when they are in the studio, and then can view and purchase the wares made on site in the attached gallery.

Ridge Wilderness Adventures and Rentals is an outdoor adventure canoeing company operating in the Lower Mainland. We work with many school groups, girl guides, scouts and private groups all over BC, offering many day trips, overnights and multi-day canoe and camping adventures. We also provide canoe lessons throughout the summer season, and Red Cross Certified First Aid September to June each year. We specialize in Wilderness First Aid and our hands on instructors provide high level wilderness first aid instruction to SAR,DFO, and BC Parks ; as well as public first aid programs offered locally in Langley, Chilliwack, Vancouver, and Vancouver Island. We've traveled all over BC, Alberta, and the rest of Canada, as well as England and China; providing world class training in both canoeing and first aid. Our Rentals Operation is located at Kearsley Creek Campground, and offers Canoe, Kayak and SUP rentals all summer long on the beautiful Stave Lake!

Little Straw Vineyards is a family-owned estate winery with vineyard plantings dating back to the late-60's. The majority of our wines are made from our estate-grown grapes. We offer an electric array of wine-related condiments, regional literature, and gift items to round out your visit. The Slamkas planted their vineyard in 1969 with the intention of selling grapes to large commercial wineries in the area. By 1996, the three Slamka sons had established their own beautiful winery overlooking the Okanagan lake in West Kelowna. The Sidhu family owners of Kalala Organic Estate Winery they took over ownership in 2021 and have kept the Slamkas legacy alive. They brought Organic farming to Little Straw's Vineyards which added organic certification as one another achievement in Legacy of Little Straw.
