Sheringham Distillery is based out of Vancouver Island, Canada and is on a mission to make the worlds most approachable gin, prioritizing sustainability and quality ingredients with a chefs approach to distillation. Sheringham caught global attention after their flagship spirit, Seaside Gin, took home the Worlds Best Contemporary Gin award in London, U.K. Seaside Gin was inspired by a walk along Vancouver Islands rugged coast with its refreshing fragrance of Nootka rose, the dewy Pacific Northwest rainforest, and fresh ocean air. Sheringham Distillerys spirits are known for versatility with deliciously complex yet impeccably balanced botanical profiles, making Sheringham spirits delightful sipped on their own, in a cocktail, or as an ingredient in your favorite dish.

Our guest house is located in Rose Harbour, Kunghit Island; very deep within Gwaii Haanas National Park, Marine Reserve and Haida Heritage Site. Only accessible by floatplane! We provide 3 meals a day, offering authentic Thai cuisine being our specialty. We cook mostly with organic food and also from our large garden. Our guesthouse is rustic but comfortable with wood heat, communal shower and composting toilet. We don't have more then 8 guests at the time unless your group is more then 8! Our tour packages include accommodation, meals, and transportation by floatplane to/from Queen Charlotte Village. We also offer optional guided boat tours and sea kayak rentals in the area surrounding our location. Recommended sites to visit by boat are Ninstints/Skanggwaii (UNESCO World Heritage Site), Cape St-James, Rose Inlet, and many others nearby locations. We speak English, French, Thai and Lao. Our continued goal is to produce wines that are unmistakably identifiable as being from nowhere else in the world but from the Similkameen Valley. Our caves were built to gently age our wines in only the finest of French oak barrels.

Miracle Beach Provincial Park is a popular oceanside family campground with a popular day-use and beach, conveniently located 22 km north of Courtenay and 22 km south of Campbell River off Hwy 19a. It makes a great home-base while visiting the popular Comox Valley, Campbell River, or for those looking to ferry to nearby islands. Visitors can also find horseback riding, golf, fishing and many other recreational activities in the area. The large family campground is world-renowned and offers 201 non-serviced campsites located under a dense forest canopy. Campers have three flush washroom buildings in the campground as well as a large shower building. Water taps and pit toilets are located throughout the campground. There is also an RV sani-station available to empty waste tanks and to refill water tanks. Campsite reservations are accepted and some first-come first-serve sites are also available.
