Open from mid-May to mid-August, we offer several affordable accommodation options from single bed bedrooms, studio and one bedroom suites with queen beds, fully equipped kitchens and private washrooms to four bedroom apartments with fully equipped kitchens, living room and 2 private washrooms. Only 2.5 km for the Kelowna International Airport and centrally located to both Kelowna and Lake Country, the perfect location to enjoy your stay in the beautiful Okanagan.

Motel 6 - Victoria Airport - Saanichton is conveniently located minutes from Victoria Intl Airport and 8 kms from Butchart Gardens. Guestrooms include HD TVs, mini-fridges & microwaves. Kitchenette suites are available. Enjoy free Wi-Fi, complimentary morning coffee in the lobby and onsite truck parking. Breakfast vouchers are available for purchase. Newest hotel in the heart of Smithers.

The Nechako White Sturgeon Conservation Centre hatchery program is dedicated to maintaining genetic diversity and conserving the population of the Nechako White Sturgeon. The hatchery is used to rear sturgeon eggs into one-year old sturgeon for release into the river. Research projects and programs also run out of the hatchery. Visitor Hours: Tours currently available by appointment only. As of Thursday April 24, tours will be available at 2pm daily (including weekends). Specific tour time requests are still available and approved based on operations and staff availability. Call the hatchery at 250-567-6673, email nechako@gofishbc.com or email info@nechakowhitesturgeon.org to book.There is an Community Fishing Pond stocked with rainbow trout on-site that is open for public fishing (catch-and-release only) on a drop-in basis. Free rod and tackle gear is available. Adults 16 years+ require a basic fishing licence. The Trout Fishing Pond is open May 1 October 31, dawn to dusk.
