Moosehaven Resort and Campground is 12 acres of trees and grassy meadows nestled on the shore of Hathaway Lake in the South Cariboo region of British Columbia. With 9 lakeshore cabins, 30 amp and 50 amp pull-through full-service RV sites, shower and laundry facilities, clean bathrooms, boat launch and boat rentals, kids playground, the only thing missing is you! The great swimming and fishing lake is teaming with Kokanee, Rainbow and Lake trout, as well as Burbout. Open Seasonally from April to November (weather permitting). Please note we have an abundance of wildlife that visits the resort (deer, fox, families of ducks etc), and to maintain this, we do not permit dogs in our campsites or cabins.

WESTERN HOSPITALITY ON A GUEST RANCH AT THE ENTRANCE TO BEAUTIFUL WELLS GRAY PARK Despite the rapid growth of its urban centers, much of Western Canada is still untamed frontier. One of those areas is the Wells Gray Park, 5200 sq. kilometer of protected wilderness in Central British Columbia. Bounded on the north and east by the Cariboo Mountains, and on the west by an upland plateau, the Wells Gray Park encompasses a broad spectrum of mountain scenery. The area is abundant in flora and fauna. Caribou, moose, black bear, beaver and wolf freely roam the park, and local streams are well stocked with trout. Horseback riding, fishing, mountain biking, river rafting, hiking and canoeing into the local wilderness are all part of the ranch's daily summer routine. Your skilled guide will lead you to adventures on remote mountains, valleys and lakes in a setting as spectacular as it is challenging. COVID-19-update: The Wells Gray Guest Ranch will open June 1st, 2020 with limited capacity,. We are continuing to welcome guests who are able to make the journey. We adhere to the highest cleaning standards possible and have also implemented additional measures in the face of COVID-19 to ensure that our guests feel a sense of security when staying with us. Unlike an amusement park ride River of Golden Dreams trips allow you to be an active participant, one of the reasons people keep coming back to paddle the river. In the spring the water levels can be high and moving though always flat and no rapids. By mid-summer water levels are gentle. By late summer the beaver start rebuilding their dams creating pools to paddle in. Guides are recommended, though experienced river paddlers go unguided. Bulkley Valley Brewery was created by Bikers, Skiers, Boarders, Fisherman, paddlers and people who really enjoy a good beer. Located in Smithers BC they realized that this small town had no "Apres" despite the fact that it was a natural wonderland. People had no place to gather, to tell stories, to see friends that they had not seen in awhile, to meet new friends. Most of all though Smithers had no Craft beer.
