Mt. Boucherie Estate Winery proudly stands facing its namesake, a former volcano that created unique soil conditions for grape growing. Our heritage stems back to since the beginning of the Okanagan wine industry and we are proud to own and manage some of the oldest vineyards in British Columbia. From the vine to the bottle, our team takes care of every detail, every choice, every grape and every drop of wine. This is our pride in being one of the few premier wineries using grapes grown exclusively from our own vineyards.

The Nechako White Sturgeon Conservation Centre hatchery program is dedicated to maintaining genetic diversity and conserving the population of the Nechako White Sturgeon. The hatchery is used to rear sturgeon eggs into one-year old sturgeon for release into the river. Research projects and programs also run out of the hatchery. Visitor Hours: Tours currently available by appointment only. As of Thursday April 24, tours will be available at 2pm daily (including weekends). Specific tour time requests are still available and approved based on operations and staff availability. Free rod and tackle gear is available. Adults 16 years+ require a basic fishing licence. The Trout Fishing Pond is open May 1 October 31, dawn to dusk.

Built in 1928, Assiniboine Lodge was North Americas first backcountry ski lodge. Today it retains its rustic charm and welcoming spirit. Nestled at the base of iconic Mt. Assiniboine, the Lodge is surrounded by soaring peaks, alpine meadows filled with wildflowers, larch trees and turquoise lakes. Located 28 kilometers from the nearest road, it is a place of incredible peacea place where we disconnect from the busy world and reconnect with nature, family and friends. Overlooking Quesnel Lake and the mouth of the Quesnel River, in the rural community of Likely, this 12 room motel offers a full bathroom, satellite tv, free wifi, telephone and a mini fridge in each room. Kettles, coffee makers and microwaves are available on request. Pet friendly rooms are also available for an extra fee. Located on the Cariboo Gold Rush Trail at the south end of the Backroad to Barkerville, this is a quiet, clean and comfortable place to stay before venturing out sightseeing or enjoying the many outdoor activities the area has to offer. In September 2019, Beaufort became the first organically certified vineyard on Vancouver Island. Winemaker Freya Timmermans crafts the vintage in small batches for a unique expression of our Islands cool coastal climate. Expect youthful, fruit-driven reds, and lively, aromatic whites. A true Similkameen oasis and historic site featuring Western Canada's only working waterwheel-powered flour mill, lovely gardens and much more. As a partner of Mountain Transport Institute, Kootenay Charters provide the region with a wide range of chartered shuttle bus services. We have passenger vans, mini buses, coach buses and school buses (with drivers) available for weddings, events and corporate transportation - whatever your transportation needs require!

The Gallery at Queens Park is a community art gallery program that has provided a venue for emerging and established artists to showcase their work since 1985. Over the year, 12 exhibitions are presented in two-dimensional and three-dimensional mediums such as painting, photography, pottery, wood carving, bronze statues, and more. Artists are provided exhibition space free of charge and share their work with the community of New Westminster. Temporarily closed until August 31, 2020 due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Administration is currently taking appointments on a limited basis.
