Quaaout Lodge & Spa at Talking Rock Golf Resort, the pride of the Skwlx te Secwepemculecw (Little Shuswap Lake Band), is situated on the north shore of Little Shuswap Lake. Located midway between Vancouver & Calgary the Resort is located just minutes off the Trans Canada Highway, a 45 minute drive east from Kamloops, or a scenic 2 hour drive north from Kelowna International Airport. The Lodge's guest rooms suffered a severe structure fire in the spring of 2022, resulting in losing the accommodation wing. Skwlx te Secwepemculecw have committed to a rebuild with hopes to open in 2026. The Resort is still open, including Le7ke Spa, Conference Center, Talking Rock Golf Course (seasonal) & Jack Sams Restaurant (seasonal).

Located within a Provincial Park, we are the only resort resting on the shores of spring fed Echo Lake. We have 7 rustic lakefront cabins, all with their own deck & dock to enjoy the view from. Our 35 campsites vary from serviced (limited power) and unserviced forest sites, and serviced or unserviced waterfront sites. The lake brings in great fish, and our new 2015 playground and swim dock is great for kids. We would love to have you and your family stay with us at this amazing place!

We offer a one-of-a-kind Whistler tour starting from downtown Vancouver. A recently renovated community museum, telling the stories of the Southern Carrier First Nations and the peoples who have settled in the Cariboo in the last 250 years. Listen to stories of Chinese and First Nations Elders at our video stations and meet the residents of the early 20th century through the remarkable portraits of CD. Hoy and C.S. Wing. Participate in scavenger hunts and hands on activities. Keep the memory of your visit alive with a souvenir from our gift shop. We have a good selection of history books, clothing, toys, jewelry and housewares. During the Winter Season ( October to April) the museum is only open on Saturday or by appointment.

We are a family based winery focusing on premium wines produced from grapes grown in the spectacular Similkameen Valley. Our unique solar powered winery was built using strawbale construction, which is energy efficient and well suited to our desert environment. Our wineshop is open for tastings from May until October. We have a beautiful long table next to our vineyard, surrounded by trees - the perfect setting for a picnic and glass of wine.

This building is truly special. It is one of only a few commercial buildings in BC from this era with intact interior elements. It contains all of the counters, shelving, gas lights, string holders, paper dispensers, as well as a cash register, weigh scale, coffee grinder, cheese wheel and many other items that were used in the operation of the store. The museum aslo contains information on Ainsworth's rich history in the region. Stepping into this store is truly like stepping back in time. The museum also hosts an artisan gift shop filled with beautiful handmade goods as well as an amazing selection of crystals, gemstones, singing bowls, leather goods, and eco friendly Canadian made clothing.

R.J. Haney Heritage Village and Museum is located on the east side of Salmon Arm at 751 Highway 97 B, it is the Shuswap's largest heritage destination. It welcomes visitors from far and wide to discover how the early settlers and pioneers of the Shuswap lived. Set on 40 acres of the prettiest farmland in the Shuswap, the site comprises 24 buildings that are either replicas or originals and over 30 exhibits, including the original 1910 Haney House.
