Cottonwood House is one of the last remaining roadhouses in British Columbia. With over 75 years of Boyd family legacy, a visit to this historic site will allow you to experience the rich history of the Cariboo region first hand. Cottonwood House was built in 1864 offering accommodation, meals, hardware and provisions to many on their journey along the Cariboo Wagon Road to Barkerville or Quesnel. Today, this 26 acre wheelchair accessible provincial heritage site is a tourist destination offering heritage interpretation, hiking, and day use facilities.

We are located within a 5 to 10 minute walk of Shawnigan Lake School, Mason's Beach, Shawnigan Lake Village and an old train railway that leads to the Government Wharf Beach and Old Mill Park Beach. The guesthouse is nestled amidst trees and shrubs providing a natural country atmosphere. Wildlife, especially deer are often seen on the property. Our rooms and suite each have a private entrance with a balcony or patio and a sitting area in the spring and summer months to enjoy.

This spacious 2-bedroom mountain style suite has everything that you need. The kitchen is fully equipped. There are two bedrooms each with one double bed and two twin beds. Fraserview Golf Course offers an old course feeling in a West Coast setting. Overlooking the Fraser River, this well-maintained, traditional-style course offers topographical changes along majestic, tree-lined fairways. Our Clubhouse at Fraserview is open to the public, seven days per week. You don't need to be a golfer to relax and unwind in its historic and elegant parkland environment. Our licensed patio overlooks the scenic, tree-lined golf course and is the perfect spot to unwind after golf, meet for a casual lunch, or bring the family.

The Princeton Visitor Centre is located right in downtown Princeton and is an easy walk to restaurants and stores. We have a large parking lot with easy access for RVs, a wide variety of brochures that cover most places in BC, picnic tables, and a filtered water station. We sell local merchandise and nature books. We have maps to show where you can pan for gold in the Rivers and keep the gold!

Located in the Central Park Building, a heritage building constructed in 1925, in the heart of Smithers. The Smithers Art Gallery is committed to providing a welcoming destination for all to enjoy. Exhibitions change every 4-5 weeks. Visit our artisan shop full of unique, beautiful items from local and regional artists and artisans. Ask us about our FREE kids activities all summer long! There are accessible doorways to both the Central Park Building and the Gallery and there is a gender-neutral, wheelchair accessible washroom available as well.
