The Fernie RV Resort offers 161 fully-serviced RV sites, (26 are pull-throughs) 11 tenting sites, 5 heated yurts and 10 luxury RV Lodges. The resort is open year-round. The location is nestled between the Elk River, Fernie Golf Course and Maiden Lake. It is also close to Fernies shopping and dining services, and the Historic Downtown. The Riverside Resort Trail connects with the Fernie trail network for endless walking and biking and in Winter months the trail is groomed and connects with a Nordic network. Amenities include two family-style washrooms with private showers, sinks and toilets, 30 and 50 amp service, free WiFi, a professional laundry, kids playground, pump-track, sani-dump and water fill-up station. Our Visitor Information Booth is located in the town of Hagensborg BC inside the Norwegian Heritage House Museum. We have local staff to help answer any questions. Our Visitor Information is open from July 2nd through the month of September. We offer up-to-date information on open trails and activities as well as information on local accommodations. The Deep Bay Marine Field Station provides many learning opportunities for the public. We have aquariums and touch tanks that help to interpret the local marine environment to our visitors. A visit to the station can be quite an interactive experience! We have both guided and self-guided tours that provide interpretation on several themes along with occasional public lectures and special events.
