Grizzly Bears, return each August for the salmon run in Toba Inlet. A cycle that has taken place for a millennial on the traditional territory of the Klahoose First Nation. Against a breathtaking backdrop and from viewing platforms, we have optimal sight lines to view the bears in their natural habitat. Tours led by Klahoose guides and partners from Campbell River from late August to mid-October.

Gulf Islands National Park Reserve is closed for the season until May 15, 2021. Most green spaces and trails are still available for your enjoyment; however, the majority of visitor services are no longer available. Whistler Skydiving Inc. offers Tandem Skydiving experiences in the scenic Pemberton Valley just 25 minutes north of Whistler, British Columbia. Our operation season runs seasonally from May 1 to September 30.

Conveniently located near downtown, this beach is a popular place for sunbathing.

Ten Mile Lake is a very popular recreational destination for local residents and visitors. It offers multiple lakeside picnic areas, change houses, playground, two large beaches with roped off swimming areas, a boat launch, reservable picnic shelter, walking trails and great fishing. The Lakeside Campground features attractive, treed campsites, showers and flush toilets. While the Touring Campground offers sunny, open sites with 23 pull through sites capable of handling even the largest RV's on the road. Take a rewarding 2-km hike on the old railway grade along the lake, and through the forest to a large beaver pond. For those that enjoy fishing but don't have a boat we have a great fishing dock that was installed in 2015 thanks to the efforts of the Fresh Water Fisheries Society of BC and the Quesnel Rod & Gun Club.

This large scenic park and wilderness area contains five major lakes, two river systems, many small lakes, streams, waterfalls and rapids, which make this an outdoor recreation paradise.
