Guests have private rooms, with indoor bathrooms, showers, a dry room for gear, wood-stove heated sauna, yoga and stretching studio. U'mista Cultural Centre is one of the longest-operating and most successful First Nations cultural facilities in BC, founded in 1980 as a ground breaking project to house potlatch artifacts which had been seized by government during an earlier period of cultural repression. The return of the potlatch artifacts not only provided U'mista's name ('the return of something important'), and sparked a general trend toward repatriation of First Nations and cultural artifacts, it caused the creation of a physical facility and human resources infrastructure which have been successfully operated for over two decades.U'mista now operates a modern museum and cultural education facility in Alert Bay. Their operations include the museum, an extensive art gallery and gift shop, group tours, and presentations by dance troupes.

Farmstrong Cider Company is a family based business in the Okanagan Valley making small batch craft cider on a heritage farm established in 1896. We do not take reservations, first come, first served. We have a full lunch and dinner menu with vegan & gluten free options. We have a large parking lot and are RV friendly. We are family friendly. We do request that parents have their children seated with them and all times. As Farmstrong is a working farm children should not be unattended inside or outside for any reason. For their safety they need to be with their parents at all times. Our historic barn does not have AC or heating so please dress for the weather of the day of your visit.
