Located on peaceful Denman Island, Fillongley Provincial Park is a short 10-minute ferry crossing from Buckley Bay (located between Qualicum Beach and the town of Courtenay). Fillongley is a popular small campground. It has 10 oceanside, compact campsites. It is 80% reservable and reservations are strongly recommended due to the limited number of campsites available. This is the only provincial campground on Denman Island; campers may camp in the adjacent day-use parking lot overnight when the main campground is full (regular camping fees apply to overflow camping).

The Blue Horse Folk Art gallery was built by two Salt Spring Island artists, Anna Gustafson and Paul Burke. This charming space houses their most recent works of art, and is open to the public. Anna's raku vases and lamps are always in stock, along with her other projects, including gorgeous encaustic paintings. Paul's folk art animal sculptures are joined by his narrative works, including the acclaimed Mrs. Drysdale's Circus collection.Come and enjoy the gallery, see the artists in their studios, and enjoy the beautiful gardens.

Cove Adventure Tours offers regularly scheduled day trips to San Josef Bay in Cape Scott Provincial Park. The tours offer guests an opportunity to safely experience the rugged and pristine west coast in a fun and eco-friendly way. The Osoyoos Desert Centre is a 67 acre nature interpretive facility where visitors can learn about desert ecology, habitat restoration and conservation of endangered ecosystems in the South Okanagan. Guests are invited to explore Canada’s desert by taking a guided or self-guided tour along a 1.5 km elevated wooden boardwalk. In addition, the Centre features an interpretive facility with hands-on exhibits and a native plant demonstration garden. Visitors can also browse through our Gift Shop, enjoy a snack in the outdoor picnic area, or relax at one of the kiosks and take in the spectacular views.

Our trails are of varying degrees of difficulty and length to accommodate all levels of nordic skiers, for classic and skate techniques. The modern facility includes a comfortable lodge with washrooms, a racer's warming/waxing hut and some trails are specifically constructed to be Paralympic skiing friendly.
