Family Friendly Music Lounge and Brewery. Our Kootenay crafted beer is made with pure untreated water. We don't use any additives, preservatives or filtration in our brewing process. Similkameen Wild is a sprawling 18 acre property which offers a wide choice of accommodation: well-appointed, spacious suites, a 5-bedroom Homestead suite, and two Teepees which are a must for a glamping experience like no-other. Our spacious property is located next to one of British Columbias oldest and most beautiful golf courses. We have RV sites and a large play area for children and pets. You can stay in a modern cozy villa or one of our serviced RV sites. We are only a short walk to the very relaxing Kettle River. There you can catch a trout or take a very enjoyable float down the peaceful river. We have an abundance of wild life on and around the property. Everything from song birds and birds of prey to deer and elk.

A recently renovated community museum, telling the stories of the Southern Carrier First Nations and the peoples who have settled in the Cariboo in the last 250 years. Listen to stories of Chinese and First Nations Elders at our video stations and meet the residents of the early 20th century through the remarkable portraits of CD. Hoy and C.S. Wing. Participate in scavenger hunts and hands on activities. Keep the memory of your visit alive with a souvenir from our gift shop. We have a good selection of history books, clothing, toys, jewelry and housewares. During the Winter Season ( October to April) the museum is only open on Saturday or by appointment.

Our seasonal "Caboose" Mackenzie Visitor Centre is open from May to September and is located at the Junction of Hwy 97 & Hwy 39. Year-round, you can visit the Visitor Centre in the Mackenzie Chamber of Commerce at #11-600 Mackenzie Boulevard, Mackenzie, BC for all of your tourism information and souvenirs. The Nkmip Desert Cultural Centre is a 9,000 square-foot interpretive centre that exhibits 2 films, the Inkameep Day School Art Collection, indoor and outdoor interactive exhibits, a 1.5 km walking trail, and reconstructed traditional Okanagan village, and (visitor favourite) interpreter hosted programs which boast a fun filled experience for all ages! The centre is also an architectural marvel, and was built from local, sustainable materials.

Barefoot Beach Resort is a luxury RV campground with a 14 unit Yurt Village. We have our own private beach located a short walk from your RV lot, two of our Yurt rentals are waterfront. Our campground has the largest RV lots in the Okanagan with beautifully landscaped gardens that are irrigated and a canopy of mature trees that provide lots of shade. Direct access to miles of KVR biking and hiking trails. On site laundry for $2/load and an off leash area for dogs. We have a seasonal restaurant and ice-cream shop and focus on providing health conscious and family friendly accommodation. Previously we had offered tent sites which attracted the wrong atmosphere and maintenance issues, we are proud to be focused now on a community of long term visitors that come back year after year.

Since our founding in 1996, the Tumbleweed Gallery Collective has been continually challenging and exploring individual advancement in the arts. Together our members strive to promote and nurture the growth of contemporary art in B.C.
