As a family run business in operation since 1983, we welcome you to enjoy the ultimate West Coast experience. As the first fishing charter operation in Port Renfrew, we can steer fishermen onto trophy size fish and navigate hikers and sightseers through beautiful and lush rain forest. Our grizzly bear tours in the Khutzeymateen Valley provide an opportunity to see these legendary giants in their natural environment! North Coast whale watching is acknowledged as one of the most accessible and predictable locations to see whales. You may encounter grey whales feeding around enormous kelp beds, humpback whales flashing their unique tails as they dive to feed, orca whales following the migrating salmon, or porpoises playfully gliding alongside the boat. You can choose to drop crab traps, hunt for huge Chinook salmon, troll for Coho salmon or other salmon species and deep sea fish for Halibut, Lingcod and Rockfish. Our 24' Hewescraft welded aluminum boats are perfect fishing machines, each boat is equipped with top quality gear, electronics and radar and have covered seating to keep you warm and dry with large windows all around so no one will miss the action. Vaseux Lakeside Resort is a fully equipped, four-unit townhouse property, located in the sunny south Okanagan Valley of British Columbia. Our suites offer convenient configurations with peaceful, expansive views of the lake and mountains. The main floor entrance leads through the fully equipped kitchen into the dining and living area. Step out the glass slider onto the spacious deck, only a stone's throw from the beach and water's edge. The living area includes a double pullout sofa bed. Upstairs is the four-piece bathroom, as well as a handy washer and dryer. Walk down the hall, into the airy peaked ceiling bedroom, with queen bed, walk-in closet, and private balcony. To ensure your view from bed is unobstructed, the balcony is glass-enclosed. The Vaseux Lake region is a protected wilderness area that provides habitat for a variety of species of flora and fauna, including many which are rare and endangered. Encouraging our guests to explore and appreciate the beautiful space, we provide complimentary use of two kayaks, two paddle boards, and a canoe. Nearby trails offer good hiking and cycling, including the Kettle Valley Trail, just minutes away. Find us just off Hwy 97 between Okanagan Falls and Oliver, approximately 400km (250 miles) from Vancouver.

The Sunset Motel in downtown Creston, British Columbia is only two minutes from the downtown area where you can find; shops, rinks, restaurants, golf course, etc. We offer in-room amenities of free wireless internet, air-conditioning, coffee maker and some of our rooms have fully equipped kitchenettes and jacuzzi tubs. Many golfers stay with us while they are enjoying the beauty and challenge of the Creston Golf Club (one of the best golf courses in the interior of British Columbia). Other amenities include; BBQ on request, ample parking, nearby golf and walking distance into downtown Creston. We are a pet friendly motel - We accept small well behaved dogs and cats. If you have another type of pet, give us a call to confirm we can accommodate it before you book your room. As our Creston motel is located on acreage there is plenty of space to exercise your pet after the long drive. We charge a nominal fee of $10/pet/day. We are also a motorcycle friendly motel - We offer walk-out rooms that allow you to park your motorcycle within a couple of steps of your door. It is most reassuring to be able to easily see your bike day and night. We also offer washing facilities to take that latest layer of bugs off. Our guests enjoy the natural beauty of Creston area with quiet walks in the woods and family outings at the local rivers and lakes.
